The police are suppose to be the professional there the one's with the training . None of these officers show any form of professionalism at all ! The incident is being shown from all of officers body cam and there is no threat toward them . The only one who is in danger is Elijah McCain ! Not one of these coward listen to what this young man was saying that he was in distress . His body was already shutting down and he vomit a couple of times as they had him handcuffs and on the ground . And yet the ambulance arrives and the EMT give this man a sedative ? There is so much blame to go around on this needless act violence. From the phone call to police about a young man walking home .To the officers who approach him as if he were a criminal or a threat ! To EMT officer who gave him the sedative ! To the police commissioner who doesn't see anything wrong in what was done . As if everybody was right on time ! There was a peaceful march for Elijah McCain that end up in the park with a beautiful playing of violins ! But the stormtroopers arrive to put out the danger ! Time and time again these police officers are showing us except ly who they are ! And I believe them , they think that they are above the law simply by being in that uniform ! They think can stop what is happening with force but not this time ! The whole world is seeing the injustices that some face everyday just because of the color of there skin ! No justice ……. No peace .

I just can't get over this nightmare story. Furious, irate, heartbroken, it tears me apart to know that everything about Elijah was beautiful and everyone involved, even the caller are to blame for taking this light away from the world. There was absolutely no need for any of the actions to occur the way they did. All the officer needed to do is introduce himself, explain the situation that they got a call from someone and are obligated to investigate. Once the situation was ruled a non-threat, apologize for the inconvenience, complete his report, go back and laugh about how silly it was . What ended up happening was a showcase of absolute power corrupting absolutely and it cost an innocent, pure life to cease to exist. Why, FOR GODS SAKES, did this young man die walking home from the grocery store and why was this swept under the rug. Once again, these people we pay to serve and protect are abhorrently disregarding to do so. They all deserve to be punished in this life and the next.
End the War on Drugs to defund the police. It is the only way. "End the War on Drugs" is not ambiguous like "defund the police", and accomplishes just that. Ending the War on Drugs also defunds the for-profit prisons, the cartels/gangs, and the various tax-funded agencies, institutions and corporations that cultivate and exploit crime as a resource.
