Her song “We’ll Meet Again†was a sentimental favorite of the allies during World War II. She is still a symbol of hope, with the Queen invoking her song during lockdown.

I can imagine Stan lee,Adam west and Vera Lynn having a card game in heaven
My Grandpa Fought in WW2, he died 5 Years Ago. I've been Interested in WW2 for Years and Through that I Discovered the Music of Vera Lynn,. I Know I'll Miss her Dearly, she was a True Inspiration.
We'll Meet Again is the song that plays at the end of Stanley Kubrick's black comedy Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. That's how I learned of Vera Lynn. I'm sure Kubrick meant no harm as it is juxtaposed against the likelihood of nuclear war and is a coda to the world that my parents knew in their youth.
She will be missed she was doing so well, but I knew her time would come eventually RIP🥺
She won’t be meeting again 😂😂
God bless Vera Lynn. Our genuine national treasure is now singing with the angels.
A statue of this national treasure please to replace one of the toppled in the UK! Would make a change to have a female statue too.
Crying so hard right now. She is so iconic!😠She is a legend and always will be. Calmed so many in such a harsh time. Rest in peace,Vera Lynn, rest in peaceðŸ’â€

Fond memories for many of us. Both my parents survived WW 2 in England, and I grew up listening to Vera's music. Terrific. She brought upliftment during a disastrous time.
Us tower of terror bellhops are very sad. Her song still echoes through the hotel. Like a long lost memory
So sad to hear of Dame Vera's death at the age of 103. A statue of her should be erected in Parliament Square.
State Funeral Mr Johnson – if you will.
