   The overall cumulative COVID-19-associated hospitalization rate through the week ending December 26, 2020, was 326.7 hospitalizations per 100,000 population.

   Overall weekly hospitalization rates reached their highest point at 16.9 per 100,000 during week ending December 5, 2020 (MMWR Week 49) and remain elevated. Rates in recent weeks have declined but these rates are likely to change as additional data are reported.

   CDC death information for Covid-19:
   Among the 1,848 PIC deaths reported for week 52 (2020), 1,215 had COVID-19.
   (PIC = pneumonia, influenza, or COVID-19)

   CDC claims this number of deaths is above epidemic threshold, but the CDC stated early in 2020 that seasonal flu causes 20-60 thousand deaths each year. Extrapolating the 1,215 deaths for week 52 and multiplying it buy 52 results in 63,180 deaths which puts the number just outside the upper margin of 60,000 typical deaths per year.

25. I have had Covid 19 symptoms since friday morning, January 1. Could'nt even get into and emergency room sunday in Hollywood. Get over yourselves, you're selfish. I have not been able to keep food down since Friday morning. And yes, it is worse than the flu. And yes, it puts you in a mental fugue.

Given that NIOSH tested approved N95 filtering face pieces are 95% efficient at filtering aerosolized viral particles, can't we extrapolate that nearly 95% of the infections and related deaths could have been prevented by everyone wearing a simple, inexpensive, readily available, N95? 30. Good luck with getting an antibody test. Had 2 and can't get results. First they lost it then said didn't have one. But I recieved a bill for both times. Insurance won't pay for it and is well over a hundred dollars!
