A new study published on the preprint server bioRxiv assesses the antiviral activity of stenoparib against four severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) variants of concern (VOCs). This study also focuses on the inhibition of the SARS-CoV-2 Alpha variant by a combination of stenoparib and remdesivir.

    The researchers of the current study also evaluated the inhibitory action of a combination of stenoparib and remdesivir against the Alpha variant. When combined, the drugs acted synergistically and plaque inhibition increased to over 90%

    Since stenoparib inhibits a host protein, the antiviral activity of stenoparib should inhibit all variant strains. The current study explored the activity of stenoparib against four SARS-CoV-2 strains including the SARS-CoV-2 67 Germany/BavPat1/2020 wild-type strain (wt), as well as the Alpha, Beta, Gamma SARS-CoV-2 VOCs.

According to you guys in the media, so far today, there has been 448 million new cases of covid-19 reported by you in the United States since January of 2020 when the population of the United States is far less! How is that possible? Are you counting all of the false positive tests? You cannot have more new cases then you have people in the country you are talkin about unless you are trying to tell us that you can catch covid a dozen times and never gain any immunity to it! The reason I can say that is, neither myself nor any of my close circle of friends which numbers around 26, has caught covid or been sick with covid so that means somebody in the US has had covid around 13 times so far! Something smells fishy with your numbers! You must have went to the Cuomo School of reporting

  39. If cases were surging like this at this time last year, I would've been extremely concerned. 2021 may have been another tough year with COVID, but it wasn't as bad as 2020

    What is God if not a miracle maker allowing the impossible to become possible. It is because of this that hope exists. In the Constitution of the United States of America it says it is okay for people to become self-evident in their inalienable rights with God… Truth is a terrible thing to waste a man named Jesus even died for it. Jesus also said truth can set you free how is that possible? Can reality exists without truth and can truth change it? To all the people who believe that Albert Einstein actually existed…. Happy new year. Maybe matter does exists with time and energy but truth exists in our feelings to the soul. What but the soul can see it's own reflection living in a spiritual world that cannot be proven in matter?
