  1. Employers will go around this with ease. What they will do is not give raises, and let the overtime make up the difference in pay. You still work 40 hours/week and still make the same money, and your employer and/or ADP gets to do more paperwork. It's a waste of time and paperwork.

  2. I'm all for a four-day workweek, but I think 32 hours is asking for too much. Four 10-hour days would be much easier to digest for employers. In fact, some countries have already implemented this, and studies have shown that working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (essentially, working no more than two days in a row) did not decrease overall productivity or even increased it in some cases. But I'll support it no matter which way it happens. I'm glad to see that there are elected leaders who actually seem to care about ordinary Americans, and not just their corporate donors.

  3. Really ? That's all you have to worry about? Private companies should not be governed!!! They are PRIVATELY OWNED . they should be able to contact with their workforce as they choose!! And since government employees are paid more and work less than anyone in the private sector I don't think our public employees actually doing less for us is what we need?? This guy is an idiot, no wonder everyone is moving out of that state as quick as u-hauls are available. GOOD LUCK guys, use your votes wiser next time 🤷🏼

  4. Honestly…until our state isn’t a hellhole anymore….I definitely don’t have confidence in any bills created by our senators at the federal level.
