  1. Honestly don't care. Like, WHY should I?
It doesn't affect the game, and frankly, feel sad for anyone angered by this. Oh well

  2. Why is it always Caucasian Americans who never seem to understand why Native Americans find Indigenous team names offensive? 🤔 This name Change is good for Cleveland, who knows.. you may finally win one!
    Cleveland Guardians 😎👍

  3. There’s nothing racist about Indians. Guardians how original. MLB is boring already and now it’s political. Guardians is a stupid name booooooooo

  4. Will other teams need to change their names? Like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Pirates? Pirates were known for raping and pillaging. What about the Minnesota Vikings? Vikings also did their share of pillaging.

  5. The Buffalo Bills should change their name because it’s offensive to people who are unable to pay their bills

  6. This is long term strategy to move the team to a different city. Dolan (cousin of the Knicks/Mets owner you love to hate) knows the team will lose money and they’ll just move to a different city. Las Vegas might get the A’s but if not they’ll definitely get the Guardians. If not Vegas, maybe they’ll put them in Canada and bring back the Expos. Charlotte? Nashville? Some place btw the booming cities of Austin and San Antonio? Who knows.

  7. What a joke!!! I hope: 1)People stop going to games and support other sports/leagues. 2)People do NOT buy anything that has that name. 3)People wear more often Cleveland Indians stuff.

  8. It's just stupid because I don't understand what's the problem? Why change the name? Because extreme woke liberals are offended? How? How is having native American symbols offensive? Isn't it diverse or inclusive, brings out culture? Stop these stupid unnecessary changes and leave it alone.

  9. Psa if a team changing a name ruins a sport for you……. You never really watched the team anyways

  10. Baseball is most popular game in this world 🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍

  11. For me – the irony is that if these relevant groups may actually have been not at all offended by the nicknames, then…it's possible that they have since become offended given the tenor of the outrage expressed by those opposed to the name changes, now. [I know, for instance, if by some chance I happen to become the cause celebre adopted by Fox News…it would give me genuine pause, to reconsider as to whether or not my grievance is justified.]

  12. How about the Cleveland Eerie ? Of course that might come as a bit of a 'head-scratcher', even to many who live in the area. But as 'the EERIE', in case of need they could always respond to complaints with, "Hey, we're just living up to our name !"
