  1. Jimmy Lai owner of Apple Daily, I like your Jazzy coat. Did you go to USA to meet Pence, Did you supply all those expensive gas masks / green laser lights to damage Hong Kong police eyesight ? Your paper should have been closed down a long time ago. You are a troublemaker & you went too far !

  2. TIL a literal tabloid magazine owned by a UK national is considered Hong Kong pro-democracy media. Speaks a lot to the culture of the US that this is how their foreign policy mouthpieces want to frame it.

  3. When 6 million people rush to watch a new Mr Beast video, and ignore worthy stories such as this, it speaks volumes on how interested Americans actually are in China's march against freedom.

  4. Today, Red China promotes
    Fascism, NOT Communism.
    Actually, "Red China" (PRC)
    promotes state capitalism,
    not free enterprise. China
    promotes COLLECTIVISM,
    not individual sovereignty,
    not the three pre-political
    "Lockean" Natural Rights
    of (1) LIFE, (2) LIBERTY,
    and (3) PROPERTY listed
in both the 5th and 14th
    amendments to the U.S.
    Constitution (circa 1787).
    🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷🔷
    In essence, Fascism and
    Communism are merely
    two different versions of
    Socialism in the identical
    way that both vanilla and
    chocolate would be TWO
    sharply different "flavors"
    of the same ICE CREAM.

  5. It seems that only European ancestry people have the intelligence to run a liberal democracy. Which is why we will still lead the world into the future.

  6. Not surprising that NBC News like the rest of the western media keeps leaving out important facts about the Apple Daily –
A tabloid paper that was thriving mostly on raunchy topics and gossip. Once it became a conduit of secessionist ideas with the intent of creating chaos and instability within Hong Kong of course a red line was crossed – specially if the mobsters had the tacit approval of the US. If any one or groups of people attempts the same in the US they wouldn't be around for long.

  7. Its over China won everybody just sat back and barked like a little dog same thing happened before WW2 in Germany different actors same game. Treaties mean nothing to China but cheap labor/products seems to override anything else from democratic countries pathetic

  8. Look at what freedom of speech has done to American society, it has divided the nation. Instead, we should be united as one. Terrible.

  9. You may be lead by a single party for now, peoples of China, but even that single lone party is destined to evolve by reaching out to others. Perhaps only amongst the party faithful for now, but, in time life will teach them to reach out to all. Baby steps.

  10. Apple Daily nearly helped the anti-China Imperial West burnt down HKSAR with its democracy freedom human rights empty slogans

  11. Imagine any Govt. trying to suppress DEMOCRACY??? sounds like so many Republican State Govts… Texass, Flo-Rida, Georgia are the worst offenders…

  12. if we mainland chinese really want to be serious then entire hongkong traitors population will never able to escape even a single one and fishes in hongkong bay are will have enough food to eat for the next 10 years to come then we will raplace entire HK population with mainland chinese people in matter of week . instead of just crack down a single traitors media like apple daily

  13. The ‘anti-traitors’ law doesn’t care if you work in the media industry or not. You know what this is about when the West whines.

  14. We got bigger issues in our country than China, millions of homeless, human rights, border control. Why are we keep interfere with China internal affairs?

  15. . Carrie Lam tried to used HSBC bank. HSBC banks overseas froze her assets. She can't buy anything overseas. International HSBC blocked her account; except Hong Kong and Shanghai. Why she was locked in overseas? Sanctions. She's trying to find a way to laundering money.
