  1. When our communities have been murdered by our lords and
masters and elders and betters and then our children start acting out and we wonder why…

  2. Love her
I just become a mommy this year and with out having someone to see over my child is hard for my family is ready far for me.

  3. This is great news! Childcare centers overcharge tremendously and now they are in a financial hiccup. Good for them. They exploit the common worker who has no options to care for their child when working a fulltime job so now they are hurting by the pandemic. Awesome!

  4. This is so stupid. Kids aren't even adversely affected by this virus. Schools and child care centers closed down for no reason. Hopefully both will be able to fully re-open in a couple of months.

  5. I can’t go back to work as the sole provider of my children and the sole responsibility of my children their daycare closed this weekend till yesterday due to Covid and it was fucking crazy because everything just falls apart when they can’t even socialize with kids their age Are young children are suffering the most and they’re so overlooked it’s unreal

  6. The reason why we have a covid 19 crisis worse than the rest of the world is because of systematic failure of the federal government. You have a congress that does its job only during extreme cases and a president who is a utter doofus. Not on a regular basis.

  7. Circle time 🙂 what a precious name. I so miss early childcare…… I always tell myself I’m not going back but …… man …. then babies need to be happy during the crazy times. It’s so nice to see the families emotional over their kids not being there anymore ….. nice because that must mean they’re a great center who loves those kids. I really really hope they’re able to reopen. It’s sad how childcare is always last.

  8. How about talk about the trillions steve Mnuchin refuses to tell us where the money went?? How about that? And we are supposed to live off 1200 dollars?? Germany figured it out. Hardly no one lost their jobs and have the money to get through this.

  9. It is such a difficult choice for a single mother. You can work you butt off 50 hours a week at a decent wage and STILL barely come out with more than you would get on Social Assistance once you pay childcare!!

So what do you do?? Spend all that time away from your child, (God forbid you have more than one in daycare) for someone else to raise your them while you work full time?? Or swallow your pride, stay at home and raise your child?**

**this is where those high horse wealthy republicans who believe that no woman should have reproductive rights need to actually step up and HELP those mothers who do have children!!!
If EVERY fetus/child matters they have a harsh way of showing it by cutting funding to education and social assistance services for children!

  10. They have grant money they will not hand the money out. What was it like for everyone else to get grant money. Make me laugh.

  11. The govt. won’t even help the postal service, they’re not going to help child care centers either

  12. I've been blessed I never used daycare but I tell you some of those places cost big money. I know a coworker that pays 1,000 a month some ppl tell me more. That's horrible

  13. People are going to have to re-arrange their lifestyles, downsize and eliminate any unneccessary expenses. Two parent households will have to consider one parent staying home or working opposite shifts so that there will always be a parent at home. I feel bad for the single parents with no one to help.

  14. Preschool Director here… this coverage & conversation is way overdue. We've been marginalized & looked over for decades yet we're the core of working families… #Help 🙌🏽💞
