  4. We must support the CTU and the school closures. Education is a form of black oppression. Forcing black students to learn to read and write and think will hurt their brains. Education is a prime example of systemic racism. Education is for rich white supremacists and asians and people of other colors, there is no social equity. Education advances society and when society succeeds, the hip hop community fails. Stop education before it's too late.

  5. I have to admit this is the first time I've ever heard Lori Lightfoot say something that I agreed with. I personally think that the teachers union should be fired. If the teachers don't want to teach let him go flip burgers at McDonald's! Get some people in there that do give a s*** and want to take care of our future instead of condemning us to being the stupidest Nation on the planet

  7. Why can't the school year be extended have half the student body report to school on alternate days. Staffing shortage solved while reducing the number of kids in the classroom. Also offer remote learning for parents that want it.

  9. Gtfoh 🤦‍♂️ Any teacher that feels it is “unsafe” to return, should be forced to check in every hour from home, only allowed to leave their home for food shopping, Dr., Drugstore. That’s it, period, end of story. You want to continue to get paid for staying home? You need to stay TF home also. Should be no problem since it’s soo dangerous out there right?! What a fu**ing joke!

    Love you neighbour as yourself and love God with all your heart, soul and mind. 
    Develop a relationship with God to hear His voice.
    Be obedient.
    Do fruitful charitable deeds.

    Jesus is coming soon. We are living in the final days…

  12. I've said it before and I'll say it again, virtual learning failed kids because parents allowed it to happen. I have four kids, two of them being special needs. If I could make my kids listen and pay attention, no excuse for others. I get so sick of hearing how teachers didn't work all last year. WRONG. It was because people refused to parent their children. I got one child still in virtual for health reasons and she is doing fantastic. Honor roll all across the board.

  13. Open for essential services? Like education? I assume that's the lower income kids that will still be there to get fed and the the lowest wage earners at the school will still be there to feed them.
    We want to protect everyone except those that need it most. This is ridiculous
    Meanwhile my district has been open longer than most with 0 covid deaths of students or teachers. We wash our hands and stay home when we get sick. When covid pops up they sanitize the school and inform the parents who then have the choice to send there kids or stay home for a few days. The teachers and parents are united in keeping our kids as safe as possible without ruining their futures.

  17. What is the impoverished single parent expected to do when they have to stay at home from work to watch their kids? Just quit their job/s? Or leave their kid alone at home so they can work and put food on the table?

    Aren't these the people Democrats promise to represent?

  18. Why don’t they just request testing for all returning students? Oh wait that makes too much sense and prevents them from getting paid to sit at home.
