  11. Teach your children how to not just be a crying target. It is obvious that the police will not be there to help you. Have you ever seen a group of police except where a crime has already happened?

    Teach your kids to always look for the exits from every room they go in. What weapons are readily available. Blunt objects and sharp sticks. Look for places to hide if there is no escape. Think in all 3 dimensions. If your child can identify a potential threat and move toward an exit first it may help. Learn these skills with your child so they know how to avoid being a victim.

  12. There is no further gun reform or legislation that doesn't infringe on Americans 2nd amendment constitutionally protected activities. Instead of addressing the real reasons behind shootings, and real criminals with guns, lets violate law abiding citizens gun rights. Sounds like a good plan, SMH.

  15. Ask yourself, what was the name, or race, of the shooter in Uvalde, TX? If you don't know the answers, you believe what the media is telling you, instead of thinking for yourself. You are "Feeding" off what they say/portray….   23. As a current Army officer and veteran of OIF/OEF…Keep yourselves armed American citizens with best means available. If not yet armed get yourself an AR and standard capacity magazines, because American citizen…you will always be your first line of defense because when seconds count police are minutes away. That said, I do hope each individual morally seeks training to handle said firearm safely if not already a veteran or current military -Captain, US Army
