    With inflation & shortages in the supply chains, one wonders if "renting" iphones or ipads will sharply bring down the "sky high prices" in the final analysis.

    Tweaked Twitter:
    Hopefully, the tweaks come with an improved respect for users as "real people", as opposed to being reduced to disposable "data banks" for Twitter. I had opened an account a few years back, but it kept getting plagued with gratuitous account-lockings by Twitter.

    Twitter kept gratuitously accusing me of being "a robot" 😄, only for me to repeatedly prove them wrong. Eventually, I just threw my hands up, and said that's it. After a hiatus, I opened a new account recently, being on the look out for a better experience this time around. Hopefully, Twitter's "tweaks" include an adjustment in Twitter's attitude.

  17. welcome to the era of no owned personal property. companies don't want you to own anything, they want you to rent it so that they always have you paying for something. same is happening with homes and i wouldn't be surprised to see it start with autos as well.

  28. A subscription will cost more in the long run unless you're a fan boy who has to have the next gen device. Apple getting millions of people to pay monthly is a cash cow.
