14. What happened to George Floyd was horrific, and the world stood in solidarity and protested systematic racism and police brutality. But why is there a double-standard when it happens to Palestinians? Why is it okay if the same "knees-on-necks" tactics, and even worse atrocities are committed by Israeli government forces every single day? World governments just sit by and watch while Palestinian civilians–men, women and children are killed by the Israeli government. Are they not worth saving? Whole Palestinian families have been wiped out by Israel. Why are there no consequences, no accountability? If it was anyone else–Russia, Iran, etc., the U.S. would've acted immediately. If the 66 Palestinian children and 39 Palestinian women killed by Israel would've been American, the whole world would've acted against the oppressors. Sigh…Hypocrisy at its best.
