This news report is a total lie because any house guest of mine laughs because both Google and Alexa are always replying when NOTHING has been said to them or about them by name to trigger it.
How stupid are the media now? Of course Amazon is listening to people's commands, otherwise they wouldn't be able to fucking provide what they provide.
I have this
I just hope they get her speech recognition fixed, I'm tired of having to repeat myself or being misheard haha.
Hoping “alexa†becomes obsolete. Has nothing to do with the fact it’s my child’s name.😉. Tho she finds it amusing.
hahaha if they try to listen…..all they gonna hear is my grandpa mumbling and murmuring paranoid shit
Skynet…Sara Connor tried to warn us
Another form of "big brother"
Google home wakes every time I say trump. They are all spy devices or sorts. Buyer beware. Before we know it our every move will be tracked, recorded & used (w/o name of course)ðŸ§Â
And we didn't know this was the main hidden agenda for the Alexa anyhow? Come on. Alexa was intended to eavesdrop on us. Not to help us with our lives.
I still can't fathom any reason why anyone would want these devices in their home. I hear stupid rationalizations that really don't pan out. Like "it's convenient" or "it saves me time from having to something myself", which is basically people with a totally bloated sense of their importance and value of their time. So, you're so busy that you don't have 15 seconds to do an internet search or visit a website? Clicks of buttons are suddenly so time-exhaustive, and physically and mentally draining that you need a machine to do it for you. Flipping a light switch too much work? I don't get it. People want to act like they need all this shit because they're keeping up with the Joneses or because they are oh-so-busy-and-important that they can't exist without a piece of technology like this, when in reality, its mostly because human beings are mistaking total fucking laziness with convenience (yes, there's a difference). How many of these people with these devices in their homes are just laying on their couch like tubs of lard or on their computers doing nothing productive, picking their schnoz, reading rants like mine on YouTube, and do really have the time to do the shit that this Alexa (and similar devices) do? And is it worth having something constantly listening to everything in your household and doing who-knows-what with it really worth saving the time of getting off your lazy duffs and flipping a switch, or pressing a few buttons, or typing a few words? I don't think it is. This shit is straight up creepy 1984 type shit and people think it's so cool and impressive, and I felt it as soon as these devices started hitting the market. I'm not some total neo-luddite, but for fucks sake, how are so many people thinking that this kind of shit is legit? Totally don't get it. Creepy stuff. Rant finished.
Took my phone with me today to the dentist
Got back home opened my laptop went to Google and yay I have been tracked without me knowing. Now I know where my phone has been lol. Nice feature
People saying alexa is spying on you. Look at your phone!!!
Listening is in Alexa's job description.
Well don't forget about what Julian Assange has revealed. Not just Alexa, but your smart TV, smartphones, your smart watches, your smart cars, your own government. The only way to limit when these smart devices are listening to you is to throw them into a sealed lead box whenever you want your privacy at night. Otherwise, you just have to accept the fact that someone is listening and watching you at ALL times. Even you unplug the cord or remove the "battery", there are tiny little battery in the circuit so small you won't know what to look for which keeps enough power to continuously transmit and receive signal. This is 2019, if we can clone people and play God through gene editing, send people to space and find black holes, then being able to listen and watch every person on earth should be a piece of cake for those who need to know your every whereabouts.
I know our phones listen to us too but I would never bring one of those things home
I never bought one,I had a feeling this was going to happen, looks like I was right 🤤
I use my Alexa to send messages to the Amazon workers. "Have a good day!"…"Merry Christmas!" Things like that. Money well spent!
i brought my first smaart tv in 2005
If the product is listening for the trigger word "Alexa", then it is always listening. Its the same with "ok, google". Theres nothing to be alarmed about. You invited the technology in to your home so dont act as if you are surprised by this report.
Really its being sold to third parties!
I new it alexica is not privicey complyent
Duh!
Alexa didn’t hear a sexual assault, some fat fuck was jerking off to porn.
This is why I won't bring devices like this into my home. This is just the tip of the iceberg, I'm sure. Bad enough my cell phone has to be in the house.
Surprise, surprise! Inadvertently my ASS. I would NEVER get one. The less tech, the better!
If I can't trust the progressive left and their beloved special corporations then who can i trust?
Alexa how do I kill Alexa?
Its like somebody put a microphone in your livingroom and say…dont worry your information is safe.. with us…
Idk why this is so surprising🙄y’all ain’t woke
It's probably cameras in it too. You never know
I can't believe they listen to me masturbate…. and for free no less!
Honestly dont care if they spy on me.
So, here's the deal on stalky these programs are. I was at work, and I never log onto any accounts on my phone. A friend at work (we were discussing music) showed me a video by Django Reinhardt https://youtu.be/aZ308aOOX04 on his phone. I get home and here in my video feed is the Django Reinhardt video.
