7. The number of Afghan army members weren't 300k not even one sixth of that. 300k was just a number on the paper, enabling the corrupt Afghan government under Ashraf Ghani to get more financial help from the USA.

   Most of the fighting with Taliban in recent years was carried out by a highly trained Afghan military group of about 20k who were left with heavy logistical problems after US troops started moving away. They were underfed, had insufficient ammunition and there was no US air support. And when they asked for help from the corrupt government in Kabul, noone helped them.

   The Afghan Army was determined to fight with the Taliban because they and their families had tasted a bit of freedom and security in the last 20 years for which they were ready to pay the price with their lives and listening to Joe Biden saying the Afghan army didn't want to fight is a big lie.

I was not cognizant of all the abuses the regular Afghanistan soldiers were putting up with. I didn’t know their commanding officers were stealing their pay and leaving them un supplied.with food and ammunition. I’m sorry I truly am I was looking at it all from the perspective of a well supplied, well lead Western soldier. Come on President Biden, we have to get out our people and all the Afghanistan citizens that helped us.
