  5. Prevent fires in the future? The last 30 years of fire prevention was the problem in the first place. Unfortunately the PNW & West need fires to rejuvenate the lands and reseed. Fortunately we don't have that issue in the midwest, south and east coast where its very moist. All the fire prevention did was create a dam, and that busted back open.

  15. Ignorance is our worse enemy, global warming is real, and this fires will have serious consequences in the next few decades, sad part is the president blames the government for not sweeping the forest, how ignorant, we need to get out and vote.

  25. That makes plenty of sense that nobody is considering the consequences of just plowing up masses of land and forest and not considering the impact it has or can have on the eco-system. It's like that with all earths' natural resources, like gold, diamonds, silver, oil, etc. Raw resource industries just find, dig and claim, but do they really research the impact they're having on the environment? Something strange is occurring that says, "NO!"
