  1. I Just saw an episode on investigation Discovery about this, this dude had many mental issues he actually used to be a good neighbor with everyone but his PTSD made him snap out.

  2. Aloha praises people,

My name is Rommel Marcelino, and wish to report that the mural dedicating to both Officer Enriquez and Officer Kalama has been approved by the cities Cultural Arts department (Mahalos Marion😁!) this past week.

Artist Mr. John Hines I've also been networking with through 808urban.org will be doing the mural at the corner of paukulani and kuhio next to this community garden I've been working on three years now Tiffany loved, and will also be dedicating and having it blessed on or around Nov/December of this year.

I ask that once completed, that we not make a fuss of my earnest efforts I've been working tirelessly since this horrible day to get this going.  That this isn't about me, and wish to keep it this way.

I'm grateful that I'm in a position to fund this all myself, but it would not be possible if not for the support of all parties involved–especially to officer De Leon that helped assist me with following protocol to make this happen by writing the mayor, and has taking a group effort through the Malama O ka Aina Dept (Mr. Scott Goto), the city, and also the transportation department–not to mention all those that signed my petition throughout Waikiki, and the Waikiki neighborhood board commuity I'm an acknowledged participant of also going on three years.

I'll update you all once this is all complete and have the day of blessing worked out with a Catholic priest.  Please be aware of the lock down/pandemic, as the day of blessing may be pushed back due to this pandemic.

Should you need to reach me, my cell is listed below. I've asked to give a five minute power point presentation through Zoom before Nov 17, and will do my very best to get it done before then through the cities Cultural arts department. This has been both a privilege and honor than to ever feel proud if I may.  My mission is for us all to find a place of solace to go to and reflect on their lives, and of our own for the greater good*.

I'll be posting this email on every YouTube video made during the breaking news this awful day.

    Aloha,

    Rommel Marcelino

  3. Aloha praises Scott,

While finishing up my redesigning of the back portion of the community garden, to my honored surprise, these fine young officers I'm an unko to (ha) stopped by to share their support with all our team efforts not only to preserve the garden through the two year contract establish with you all at the Malama I Ka Aina deptment of Facility Maintenance, but seeing the light of day to now working on the mural aspect of this journey shared together much needed*.

I have no doubt that you Officer De Leon played praise to this through your word of mouth/support, and humbled I will forever be with guiding me to where we are today to this team effort between us all.

Be reminded by my last email Scott that will include the priest for the blessing once the mural is complete, that this comes at no cost to you fine folks as priceless we are to this ohana between us-.

Thought you'd appreciate since you added a complete new wired irrigation system, that I placed a brick foundation around it, and even shoveled away around three yards of all the soil around the palm tree where Kalani sits to level out the ground to place the circular stepping stones I have planned (about 300/400) soon enough–its going to give it great soothing appeal to the eyes every-inch you see dirt!

Mahalo again too you all for expressing both your Mana, Aloha, and support in this order*.

Lucky We Live Hawai'i indeed*. Stay safe with this approaching Hurricane everyone.

  4. All you continental US freaks commenting on these posts of 2 slain Hawaii officers are fucking sick. Thats why we dont like you tourists, because y’all have sick twisted minds, shows especially in times like this.

  5. Rest in peace, Love you Tiffany ! 💔😔❤💙🙏

  6. The shooter has been placed on paid leave. The shooter allegedly stated the police officer moved in a threatening matter, so he feared for his life.

  7. I offer my solem condolences to the brave police officers who lost their lives, their families, and victims. The fallen officers are heros and did not deserve this.

  8. Some people in my grade were affected in this. One of them, they’re house is gone. They lost everything. They live in a condo now.

  9. One co-factor here is how close the homes are packed. Because there was the threat (or plausible uncertainty of there being a threat) of more shooting, the firefighters stayed back.
Also, while I don't condone violence, I feel for the guy. This happens to many men these days, and many people know about it, but there is VERY LITTLE acknowledgement about it going on. Instead, it's all about "muh Trump impeachment" and "I feel like identifying as a unicorn today" or "muh wildfire is burning, please give us money for aid that'll never arrive" … and if it's about homeless people, it's almost always about homeless women (which are a tiny fraction of the homeless).

P.S. More people die every year by suicide than by auto-accident. More than 60% of all suicide victims are white men, yet they only make up about 30% of the population. Where's the "white male privilege" that we supposedly have?

  10. I can't get over this. What happened to our Hawaii? My deepest condolences to fallen officers and their families, also who just lost their houses.. Very very sad..
