  4. 139k k-12 schools in the US…..2 trained guards (ex military training already had, sense of purpose, many other benefits) @ every school. Pay them 75K per year roughly, that's 19billion/year, not even half what we sent to ukraine….WHY CAN WE SEND MONEY ACROSS SEAS BUT CANT PROTECT OUR CHILDREN.

    get better security than kids at
    school? We protect elected officials
    with guns but not kids. We protect
    banks with guns but not kids. Our kids
    are more valuable than banks or
    politicians. Why does our country
    refuse to protect them with guns????

  13. The U S. has the most firearms per capita of any country in the world (Yemen is a distant second), being the only nation on EARTH with more guns than people. Not surprisingly, we also have the highest rates of gun violence of any country in the developed world by far. Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Norway, and almost all other developed countries have some of the strictest gun laws, and also have the lowest rates of gun violence. Coincidence? I think not. This is the price you pay for "freedom." I hope it's worth it.

    Fun fact: 9 out of the top 10 states with the highest rates of gun violence per capita are the Republican-led states of Alaska, Mississippi, Wyoming, Alabama, Louisiana, Missouri, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Montana. (Source: World Population Review)

  19. The teacher at Ethan Crumbley school 🎒 said something and the school absolutely nothing. Never sent him home. Never checked his 🎒 when he was in school. So see something say something doesn't always work.

Yesterday while watching the aftermath on YouTube of the many channels broadcasting this tragedy, I recall hearing a report that the argument with the grandmother was over the shooter not being able to graduate before he shot her? If this was the case, it gave me cause to wonder if it was the high school in Uvalde that he was heading to but the crash of the pickup he was driving was integral in his going to this elementary school instead? I don’t know how close these two schools are to each other? But was it the high school he was going to and this elementary school just happened to be near where the wreck occurred? I haven’t been able to find anything that repeated what I heard yesterday either on YouTube or the National News. Either way this was a terrible tragedy that didn’t need to happen.

  35. This 18 year-old lunatic was met outside the school by two armed officers whom he shot and incapacitated before entering the school…where he then killed 19 children and some adults. The SWAT team arrived and he was still able to shoot and wound another officer before being shot and killed.

    The Buffalo grocery store killer was first approached by an armed guard who shot the creep who was protected by an armor vest…and then he was shot and killed by the lunatic.
