How come his minimum sentence is 110 years but a shooter who killed 17 people minimum sentence is 20 years

I heard it got lowered to 10 years. That's worse imo. In 10 years from now everything he knows and love will change. If it were me I'd just take the 110 years. I would NOT want a 10 year gap in my life. SMH….

I think one of the main points to be heard here is that if you're a trucker and you are aware that your brakes fail then use the next available runaway truck ramp, PERIOD.

I feel bad. People panic and make mistakes. This guy is never going to forget. He is honorable enough to punish himself, this sentence is too harsh.

The accident is the trucking companies fault!
It is clear to me.. (Expert driver) the truck was used repeatedly on hills . the truck brakes must be changed and or sanded to remove the glasing on the pads.. The way the truck was running away is exactly this problem. Neglect on the part of the cheepo trucking company..

Experts have to be involved. To prove what I am saying.. Its impossible to have the truck run away like that without previouse brake glazing… Low gear selection retarders and brakes.. I am sure by the sound he was in low gear and had his retarder on..

Yes, reconsider this young mans sentencing he does not deserve this life sentencing at all! He did not purposely cause this accident and wanted to kill people!! And these Colorado laws need to be changed!! Justice for regel!!!
This is bad. This is a accident that could have been avoided. But u have to take in the human element and the fact that he may have been in shock when he passed up the exit for run away trucks. I would have to think he didn’t intentionally pass it up. I can see how he was in some sort of shock or had tunnel vision and didn’t see it at all
110 years, it was an accident though! He should get fined and jail time, but what he deserves. What about school shooters, murderers, terrorists, do they get 110 years?

He could have avoided the accident. Passed a runaway truck ramp. Went up hill and went past a huge meadow he could have drove into. Yes the breaks failed but he didn’t do anything to avoid the situation just kept trying to shift into a lower gear. This does not mean I don’t support truck drivers. But I do support the victims families In this case.

110 years is absolutely insane, the guy was obviously overworked with unrealistic corporate demands. He wasn't drunk or on drugs, life behind bars for him but not child molesters nor Rapists is excessive regardless of state minimums

I truly believe an appropriate sentence for him considering all the evidence and the 4 fatalities along with the 28 car accidents he should get no less then 10 years with hood behavior let him out at 6 1/2 years!

It’s ridiculous how murderers who intentionally killed people, pedos, and rapists get lesser sentences than this. Dereck Chauvin only got like only 22 years for murder. The U.S. court system’s a circus.
