This video is outdated and is no longer accurate. For example, you don't pay for data up front anymore…
Android I recommend you look at dent wireless, crypto. It is a company that will allow the users to sell their unused data. Users can buy and sell to anyone and with this combined with project fi, this can become a game changer
hardware support being limited to Nexus may change, but that is up to device manufacturers, the fi network operates on both CDMA and GSM bands so the device needs to have both radios present.
Anyone try to "spoof" the Nexus phone requirement? Any successes (how-to links)? What devices? ROM/IMEI check? etc… 😀
Can I browse while I'm having a call..?
$10 a Gig you use. Are you fucking Kidding me ?
i got a Unlimited Data plan 4G/LTE + Free Sms and Phone calls. i pay $12 a month. No more not less
ok, if i use my Google voice # can it still ring my other phone like it does now.?
I was going to port a current cell # and the choice said, "you loose your google voice # forever" WAIT WHAT? I have to use my google voice # or loose it? then can i Just go back to how it is now if the Service doesn't work for me.
My plan is Unlimited calls text and 5gig high speed data for $47/mth. No extras that would cost $70 on Project fi. i want to try it but going back? is it possible?
Thank you for the info. How do you think it compares to Ting. I want to try one on them.
On Fi does everything integrate into hangouts? i.e. all texts/voicemail will show up in chrome on desktop with hangouts extension? Also can you keep the google voice feature that allows you to have one VM for anonymous calls and and another VM for your contacts list?
Fuck Fi
Nice video, will it come to the UK?
really? 256 kbps is not much difference from home network? When T-Mobile data is slowed down to 256kbps on my Note 3, it becomes unbearably slow, cant even load the Play store. so, no…
Project Fi User here, Fairly good service. When you get switched to Sprints network, you notice, Sprint sucks.
I think project Fi is a good step forward because it will offer some healthy competition to some the undeserving US carriers looks at you Verizon and AT&T
However, it will still be cheaper for me to stick with my $30 T-mobile plan.
$10 per GB?! I use about 50+GB per month
The refund at the end of the month is my favorite Project Fi feature, but Google says my invite won't be sent for 12 weeks. Ugh.
