  1. I stated "next phone is a Moto" just a week ago, and then this video made me sure about that. Motorola is just like a mother, they care about you, but let you choose your dressing 🙂

  2. HTC earned my loyalty to the M8 until it dies, after that I hope HTC would have brought a better phone than the M9. I hope they don't make the same mistake with newer phones. 

    On a side note I'm keeping tabs on the Xperia Z line up as it looks really good. Either way I'm still a long way from choosing a main device. (I have an S4 Active as a travel phone.)

  5. Yes ,I'm gonna but as Motorola phone for rest of my life 😀 because till now from past 6 years or been amazing& v very saying for me . C'mon that moto X literally listens to ur voice& command while it's sleeping , + cool active display
    With nice amoled panel that's some pretty neat innovation 🙂

    I have read the majority of comments here and am surprised that @KitNKitty is the only one so far so who mentions the 'Moto Features' ('Moto Assist/Voice/Drive/Display/Actions). This is where the Moto X leaves the others in the dust for me.
    I pull my phone from my pocket and instantly see the Time and any notifications – WITHOUT TURNING THE SCREEN ON. 75% of the time my attention not needed right then and, therefore don't turn the screen on – is what appears to allow the battery to last all day. You get to choose which apps can spawn Moto Display notices. If you haven't set them up already do so and test the full experience … BEST if you allow it to show message detail, otherwise you won't know exactly what the message is other than message type and who/what its from.
    Moto Drive – I spend around 3 hours a day driving and make use of this constantly. Have you seen videos of Android drive and/or many of the other driving apps? Well, Moto Drive combined with the very quick responding Moto Voice make for the best driving experience I have found yet.
    I'm addicted to these Moto assist features because they save time, battery and are SOOO convenient – THIS is why the MOTO X is the UI game changer folks! (Yes, some other Moto devices can have some of these features, but the Moto X started it and is the only one to have all) — AND why my Nexus and Samsung Note phones are for sale. Sorry for the long post. Cheers

  9. Motorola has gained my loyalty. My last three smartphones are Motorola: Moto X¹, Moto X² and now the Nexus 6. If they keep stock Android, non-obtrusive add-ons like Moto Voice, Assist, Actions, etc and offer a user customisable phone, then I'll continue buying from them without hesitation.

  11. "Loyal for the next 5-10years" uhm, only one problem. I have my phones for like 5years… Heck, I got a 8 year old computer >_>. New tech is always interesting though but I can't motivate a purchase since I really won't gain anything "new". Not much has happened except from software which still runs well on "old" devices since android and iOS was introduced.

  12. I have a nexus 6 and have to say they have been good to me. Replaced my phone after 5 months without a hastle. My next phone will be a Moto.

  13. Samsung lost my trust with the S3 and S4. Every single person I know with those two phones have had nothing but trouble. Battery consistently failing almost exactly after a year was one of the most common issues with galaxy phones I've seen. The S5 was pretty decent and from playing around with the S6 it seemed pretty good, but for now LG has my loyalty. With their removable back and SD card slot, theyve shown they're listening to pro users who use those features, all the while providing a pretty bloat free experience that is snappy (at least on the T-Mobile version of the phone I own). HTC has been pretty good for me, but as someone who has a passion for photography but cant always carry around my DSLR, the camera on the M9 was a HUGE disappointment.

  14. When i bought the HTC one M7 i thought that i would be loyal to HTC because i love the phone. But 2 years later they no longer have arguably the best phone on the market so i'll probably be going with the next note or nexus when my contract is up.

I have bought nothing but Samsung Galaxy Smartphones first I got the S2 then got the S3 and now have the S5 and I am very pleased with their phones.  I never really cared for LG and I like the Motorola phones as well specifically the Droid phones but their exclusive to Verizon and I'm on Boost which is Sprint.  For software or the look and feel of Android I really like the Touch Wiz UI over stock android but that's my choice.

  16. Android companies have been doing this just now?! Haha, Apple has been doing this for years. No wonder they have iSheeps and much more popular even with "shitty specs".

  18. After rocking a Moto X for the better part of a year now, I would definitely stick with them when the time comes IF they stick to the formula that they used with the Moto X.

  19. Since 2007, I've had an HTC phone, which the exception of last year, where I got the Moto X 2013. As awesome as the Moto X was, I missed the my Evo 4G LTE much more than I'm missing the Moto X

  20. The user expedient on my moto x 2013 was excellent. I wish my nexus 6 has the active display as good as the moto x and the touch less voice control

  23. Motorola all the way. I got the 2013 Moto X and it is glorious. I still preforms better or the same as my friends Galaxy s5. Probably because he has so much bloatware it makes it so slow… But hey, running some pretty intensive games on a 300 series adreno and a S4 Pro. Pretty impressive. Though i still haven't gotten Lollipop yet D;

    I like that they hardly put any bloatware

    The smallest detail and yet my favorite is the dimple on the back 😇

  25. I don't have brand loyalty but my last 2 phones have been made by LG. I had a terrible experience with the Motorola motolux, then moved to the Nexus 4 and was blown away with the great experience. My G4 now offers everything my nexus was lacking in battery life, storage and camera, showing some really great progression. The build is quite good, even in the plastic backed version, and the skin of top of Android can be toned down and put closer to stock. My next phone will be whatever offers the best overall user experience which fits my needs. So far I haven't had any problems with LG

  26. I think sticking with a Certain Brand every Year is like losing the Eyesight ( Slightly Exaggerated)every Year.
    It is safe to assume that sticking with a certain Brand is like taking an Life Insurance,who wouldn't like to pay less premium for a Better One?!
    New manufacturers are emerging Every Year with their own Vision of Smartphones like Xiaomi,OnePlus in 2014,sticking with a Certain Brand is harder than the Earlier days of Android @Android Authority @Jayce Broda

  29. hate to admit it, but that's what Apple has done to me. I know the Motorola X, galaxy s6 are much superior devices but the seamless integration between iOS, OS X and iCloud makes it nearly impossible for me to switch. Hate paying for a new Apple phone that costs the same as a decent laptop every 2 years but I just don't seem to have any choice.

  30. I'm not set on any particular company. I don't necessarily think that is wise to be either because it could make you biased and blind your judgement.

  31. there's pretty much no compelling reason to buy motorola anyway…

    people upgrade phones because they want something new and compelling , not boring stock android , a lame phone design , and a cheapovision price tag..(why upgrade anyway?)

    even Huawei and xiaomi cheap phones have stunning designs and new stuff

    pretty much sums up why apple/ samsung surged , and motorola failed so badly they got dragged here and there from google to lenovo..

    get it right!!

  32. How come Motorola's Moto maker only works with the second gen moto X and not the first one? I don't like the size or the price of the new one :/ at the very least they should have also added the second gen Moto G as an option.

  33. I was like that with HTC but they really drop the ball with the M9, it's like when Apple release the iPhone 4s after waiting for a bigger screen.
