Android Authority videos are very shitty. I watched maybe 10 or 20 today and absolutely none of them helped me make a decision whatsoever. To read specs I can simply read specs. I don't really need neutrality on these videos, I need opinions. Spec sheets anyone can read. And btw, it's not really a matter of taste, the Xperia display is shitty, you can't deny it, at least not on viewing angles. Guess where I found that out, not on this video lol. Cheers!
I like Sony but srsly?? G2 is a bigger phone but the bezels are so thin compared to the Z1.
@Android Authority I want to choose between xperia z1 and lg g2.I am not able to make a choice between them.So can u Please help me make a choice . I had this dilemma because xperia z1 largely suffers in viewing angles. Does it really matter much?

the only problem with the lg g2 is its build quality
The negetives of Z1
1. The camera shutter (of z1) doesn't responds much and sometimes the camera app opens automatically
2. The screen on its own goes blank mostly during web browsing
3. its not very much durable, although its glass is shatter proof but then also it has chances of breaking
4. the main issue with its screen is its viewing angles, so if you play games like real racing and asphalt 8 on it ..then while tilting the phone the colors will fade and it will distract the gaming
5. the camera which is a monster 20.7 mp doesn't shoot 20.7 mp in auto mode its limited till only 8 mp
The Positives of Z1
1. it feels very much premium and has a very good looking body.
2. its gaming performance is excellent. frame rates do not drop. becoz it has a playstation module on it
3. Audio quality is good
Tbh the bezels of the Z1 look very ugly so I go with the g2 because of a better battery too
Since i already have the xperia z, i decided to buy the LG G2 a few weeks ago and the screen size and quality is obviously superior to the xperia z or z1 but i like the xperia z1 also.
I don't give a shit about the specks !!! Sony feels the best and look amazing!!! Very easy to use too! I had iPhone for past 5 years now Sony and I love it!!!:) Superb device.

You access Google now by swiping up on the home button.
anybody knows how to access Google Now from the Home button in the G2 since a long press brings up multi-task screen? it's something i use frequently and if Google Now isnt accessible from home screen, i think i may have to pass on the G2

i like phones with minimized edge
let me point out a few things and im not being bias as i don't have either of these but i seen and been on them the xperia z1 uses ancient screen tech the TFT for crying out loud it also has a horrid yellow tint to the screen. xperia z1 is not bad looking but nothing on the lg g2 because a lot of the bezel as been removed also the camera on the xperia z1 is not that brilliant just check the reviews the only area in specs the xperia z1 in which it has the edge is the waterproof
