  1. Looks very nice. But for $150.00!!!!????!!!!???? Way too high, again the companies are trying to get as much as they can from us for very, very little in return.

  2. The Gear Fit appeals much more to me than the traditional Gear, I really don't know why, maybe the form factor, or the curved display. And also what you said about wearing the watch inverted does make sense, because of the way the screen is oriented.

  3. You don't have to wear it on the other side to read it. You can set it so you can scoll horizontally rather than vertically. I've had the GearFit for a few days now and so far so good.

  4. I am a user of Samsung Fit Gear in Brazil.

Practical exercises in the gym "indoor" but the clock does not have this option exercises.

    Suggestions for Samsung:

    1) add the type of physical activity "indoor" in the next update.

    2) Have the option to show the heart rate percentage "%" – Based on maximum heart rate entered by the user.

    3) Exercise summary with: Average and maximum heart rate.

    4) Configuring Zones Trainings Manually

  5. The screen is in landscape mode. THAT'S STUPID AS FUCK.
Piece of Samsuck crap with laggy touch response.

  6. PLEASE AWNSER ME DOES IT HAVE TO BE CONNECTED TO A PHONE TO WORK AND CAN IT CONNECT TO A IPHONE ALSO WHAT OTHER SMARTWATCHES DO U RECOMMEND FOR ME TO GET THAT CONNECTS TO A IPHONE.PLEASE AWNSER ME PLEASE

  7. The dude in the video seems to be having some trouble fiddling with the touch screen!

These things are dumb. I had the first Gear and even when it's rooted and a custom OS is installed they are still  useless. I can't imagine how pointless this thing will be with Samsung's dumb Tizen OS.

  8. The flexible OLED display is impressive! However, it´s incomplete as a smartwatch (as Dynsty pointed out, it is a shame that phone notifications are missing) and as a fitness tracker (it lacks inactivity alerts, elevation tracking, stroke counter for swimming). There are better options for fitness devices: Fitbit Force is versatile and affordable: http://versus.com/en/samsung-gear-fit-vs-fitbit-force
and Jawbone UP24 is compatible with much more apps and it´s perfect for the gym:

I am skeptical about the success Samsung Gear Fit will have on the market.

  9. :-O Star Trek is coming real??? lol If any of you guys and gals saw the old one with William Shatner the 1960's startrek you know what I'm talking about. lol

  10. The gear seems perfect but it's a galaxy-only device. If one could use the fit on any smartphone then it would have been the new thing. But now it's gonna be a "galaxy faboys thing".
I will never understand the business behind this ridiculous choice.

  11. does the curved display have problems with touch imput because it seems like half of your taps and gestures dont work at all.

  12. I'm worried about how uncomfortable it will be to use the device as it is on the wrist. Having it inverted would mean the display touches surfaces when you keep your hand on a table or something. And having it the right way makes it awkward to use.
Should have had a portrait mode.

  13. this is so old. one pixel devices are the future. this has too many functions, one function (torch) devices are the future.

  14. I want this! everything i want in a fitness tracker, but have no interest in giving my Nexus 5 up for a Samsung. Just hope they open it up to all android users rather than just theirs. Otherwise they will loose out when other companies bring out their competing devices.
