The phone needs to dry for some time before you can hear well through the mic or out through the speakers again.
The sound isn't changing. There's water on the microphone, so the sound will still be muffled once you take the phone out, until the water dries.
Does the sound change back to normal? Because it seems like the sound stays like it's underwater even though it's pulled out of it
