   Somehow, Night Mode in Huawei newer phone produce weaker quality than Auto. In Auto that takes only in split second, AFAIK, Huawei Mate kills every other company out there.

20. 0:15 Google uses more AI than Huawei? That's really nonsense. Huawei phones have a "Master AI" setting, Google phones don't use any AI scene mode, which would lead to inconsistent results. Google uses machine learning for the portrait mode and for making faces brighter, for digital zoom, for perspective distortion correction of faces, for the white balance and for noise reduction of the sky. Otherwise they don't use machine learning. So apart from the white balance, the look of the Google Pixel photos has mostly nothing to do with machine learning and is based on the Nexus HDR+ On mode, which was released in 2013. If Huawei only relied on "hardware", their low light performance would be much worse. Huawei's good low light performance was always due to Huawei's image processing. Some people have a completely wrong understanding of image sensors. In 2018 they had a 67% larger sensor with the same f number and without OIS, this doesn't magically make every night photo much, much better, that's not how it works.

23. i own a pixel 5 and i can say pixel 5 is nothing amazing. just gets the job done but definitely not great. I would say that the camera is 6/10. front cameras literal shit and back camera is alright at best

37. I don't know about the Huawei but my pixel 5 gives me exactly what I and that's what I like in a camera. The only downside is you don't zoom in too much on the pictures as compared to others
