getting 1450+ on my galaxy Y without overclocking.. 😛
Both phones are great
Dude are you freaking kidding me? delete this video,i get up to 1319 in this same benchmark, and this phone doesnt have flash cause net browsing is x10 times faster without the famous flash.
galaxy mini/next/pop is better with android 2.2 get's 555 with 2.3.4 get's 962 and with cyanogenmod 7.2 rc4 get's 1282..with overclock 1672
what is better samsung galaxy mini or LG optimus one? please reply!
i get 1400+ on galaxy mini with cyanogen mod 7..
1300+ on custom rom
@VraiDiouf it can just have to have android 2.3
@VraiDiouf Cuz the Droid runs a ARMv7 550Mhz CPU while this one runs on ARMv6, according to Macromedia only ARMv7 are capable of Flash… I bet it's more a thing of hardware drivers than a thing of CPU speed…
I've got 847 just by installing the leaked Gingerbread, this phone rawks…
I've CyanogenMod 7 (6.5.5 build) + franco v18.1 kernel… (and some tweaks from francofrancisco)
I got 1630 in quadrant. 🙂
@VraiDiouf
This phone CAN run Adobe Flash Player 10.1 (now there's optimized version for ARMv6+vfp cpu)
😉
got this phone 😀
just change the default launcher with launcher-pro u'll get a bump in score to 475!
i'm scoring 1405 with same phone, try to change the rom. (check my video)
Why my sony ericsson xperia x8 with android 2.2 floyo rom by racht gets 1070 points in quadrant advanced? over 3300 on cpu.
@uncledoomsday Maybe. It would involve Adobe teaching ARM v6 the instructions of ARM v7 which is improbable. But i hope Adobe do find a solution to make it run on the MSM7227 chip inside the O1. Many other phones will benefit form that too. Like the Xperia mini series. Though the confirmation of Gingerbread for O1 is awesome. 2.3 makes massive improvements on Gaming and Multimedia fronts. Also, LG should do something about the buggy Touchscreen driver
@audax5435 but y htc wildfire with 580 mhz can process flash with froyo update n O1 cant?it is so dissapointed…
@chinezyxx yeah…i think so..but its not..even htc wildfire with 580 mhz can run flash…lol..
@JargonWithCheeze r u sure?bcoz i hope so…i want flash to watch utube with brower n play fb games..lol
@thatskai It's getting 2.3. LG said it wouldn't but they made an apology and said that it will come out.
It's got a 600 mhz proc it should run flash
@Dancesux it should get 2.3 at least
Better than the x10 😉 im getting this for christmas, so excited, its snappy and cool
@audax5435 the Droid though is a 550 mhz phone.
Why is the Motorola Droid able to run Flash and this phone can't?
haha lg gt540 with froyo(alpha version) have 1500 cpu points, 500 3d points in quadrant and 9 mflops in linpacku.
no way, the 3d graphics test runs so slowly while the Legend and the first Optimus runs it well having the same chipset
Whats happening?
@Bacon676 Umm I think that it is running JIT as revealed by the linpack because my droid eris is running froyo and it has a linpack score of 5 while running JIT and a score of 3 when it is not, so the quadrant performance seems to match that of a not so high power processor, but its decent enough to score more than my droid eris on froyo.
This is more than just and entry-level smartphone it's mid-range…
@Bacon676 it could have JIT and the ram is 512mb
So it isn't running the JIT, as revealed by linpack. I wouldn't think it would be either, it's more or less an entry level phone with very limited RAM.
Then probably some cheaper processor based on the overall performance of 3D and other things.
A decent entry level phone, none the less.
