Ia the HTC u play water proof?
I'm goi to be honest, I feel like people give HTC a bad rap no matter what they do. Before this phone came out, people were already ready to hate it. And yes, it has a small battery and no headphone jack. But seriously, it offers a lot of great stuff. It's a good fucking phone, and all this bitching and moaning is getting old. HTC isn't breaking any boundaries, but they're trying, they're branching out, and they are giving a good phone in the process. While I'm not saying it's perfect, people are so bent on looking at what this phone doesn't have rather than what it offers
Looks great, but why change the design? HTC 10 is a good looking phone. Should have followed the same design language.
HTC wants to die so bad lmaoo, no headphone jack??? YOUUUrrrr NOTTT APPLE ANDROID CUSTOMERS GO FOR SHIT THAT ACTUALLY FUCKING WORKSSSSSS IM PISSSEDD!!!!!
I can completely relate to the ppl that don't really dig the missing headphone jack as I'm a music lover and a headphone fanatic (until recently). But is it that big of a compromise to get Bluetooth headphones? Or use the pair that comes with it? I feel like its just one of those things when a new culture collides with a present one, and so the new is rejected. I currently use the Beats Powerbeats 2 and they're the best sounding headphones I've owned. I suppose if I didn't have these, I'd be a bit taken back by the whole "no headphone jack" thing. I'm just glad they aren't following the trend of not including an SD card slot.
I owned an HTC One x and an HTC one m8 after that. Terrible fucking phones. Never going back to HTC. A happy camper with my iPhone SE now.
when dose the phones come out?
as a htc fans, the phones are quite amazing but,the part where the headphone jack is missing really deteriorate my mind!
what the ip rating and does it have the wireless charging we been seeking
Apple is dam (for removing the headphone jack ) and HTC is dammer (for following apple footsteps)
It makes me so sad! Reading all those comments, i just dont wanna htc die! The are great phone makers but in the last past years (eccept htc10) the got bader. I think if HTC could, they would make some bad ass phone but it seems like it aint that easy as if everyone think.
I am looking forward to the U Ultra. Great video guys.
I'm sick of seeing the body of it when are you all going to be able to show the software and what all it can do for us buyers? how can we buy if we can't see what it has to offer
as this is not 2017 flagship phone, we can say that you are very poor in youre job?
It is sad that you dont know your work!
Gorgeous would have considred it if it had 3.5mm jack. sticking to 816d as of now.
I am using HTC from 2004.
no headphone Jack no interest.
before I love Sony, Sony dumb in camera and slow, so I am moving to HTC great and fast got bom sound love it.ðŸ‘ÂðŸ‘Â.
never try to Samsung bcoz all my friends has Samsung get slow the CPU. special Samsung in camera yellow colour. SAMSUNG trouble in camera and CPU .
What dont these manufacturers not realize that everyone just wants a longer lasting battery in a phone? Was it too much too ask to make 3000mah as standard? Come we dont need your gimmicks just better performance and battery life.
galaxy, v20, and iphone had a baby = htc u
The Ultra looks so beautiful but as always HTC makes small batteries and now no head phone jack ? Bad mistake !
its like a galaxy with no touchwiz yaaaaayyyy
so when will a big company wake up and offer the customers want they really want? A flagship phone with an enormous battery. I'm talking about 4000-5000mAh.
sad times no more HTC One series I have had the m7, m8, m9 and the 10. No more aluminium neither and it's the ultra u now as loved the HTC 10 as they should of made a HTC 11 and keep aluminium just improved and evolve the HTC 10 sad times. Oh well i may move over to Samsung s8 now with a heavy heart sadly.
Why does it look like the note 7?
Other than that, great phone! Except the battery
the phone look like a soap dish in bathroom
Unsing a V20, after seeing this phone, I actually started to hate HTC whereas before I kind of liked them.
Is it me or it's true that u ultra's back is copied from Galaxy devics???
The glass is actually plastic
No headphone jack, no purchase. I'm not buying into this crap. It's obvious that the intention is to make money off of adapters, proprietary or wireless headphones, and to make phones even thinner at the compromise of basic functionality. Who cares if fundamental features are lost, it's 0.00000345 mm thinner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what kind of display is it
Yo, that blue one is dope!! ðŸ˜ÂðŸ˜ÂðŸ˜Â
no headphone 🎧 jack!?
Tiny size batteries , i would not look at either .
misleading title.
why HTC removing the jack for? where's the so called ocean everyone was talking about? what's the price of this bullshit. I'm guessing…more than £550. tell me if I'm wrong
Title of the video 'hands on'
Opening statement, 'HTC aren't allowing hands on'
price ??
ridiculous finish but if you like it hopefully you'll find a clear case….small battery and no HP jack. Looks like the start of removing possible ways of moisture getting in for water-proofing….hey kiddies don't drop your pretty phone in the toilet but on second thought
Hear we go again HTC making stupid decisions going with a snapdragon 821 while the samsung galaxy will come out soon with the 835 and everybody forgets HTC had a phone because the reviewers will start comparing the specs again. And no one will want the the 821 even though the difference in performance will marginal at best.
"hands-on"… where?
well HTC takes the best phones and combines them. you get an HTC feel, an LG v20 2nd screen and screen size, it looks like a Samsung, and might have the pixels camera… that sounds like a winner
Ya, hands-on.. riiiiight.. shitty click-bait
