  3. Making up your mind about the HTC RE isn't as simple as it seems. The camera is incredibly pretty, and is therefore a perfect accessory. But its important to actually see it in person, learn more about usage, see the kind of photos you get. At the same type, it is also important to see other options for smartphone photography, and whether the RE is such a great deal. The iPhone and Samsung's new ranges also provide some formidable mobile photography options.

  25. I see this camera could be used from street photography point of view – since while taking street shots its better(for some people) not to look at your camera screen..so could be a interesting gadget for Street Photographers….discreet too !..

  34. Hmmm it looks weird but when I thought about it more I guess it would be convenient to have this camera on you at times. Whenever you need to quickly just grab it and snap a photo or shoot a video, emergency situations when something happens quickly and you need to snap a photo.Someone attacks you and you just bust this out and start recording and sending video to your cloud immediately. I'm not sure but i do see potential for a every day user to own this.

    In all honesty, I admire the innovation with HTC's campaign to incorporate taking photos on the daily. Although, carrying another device to do so, no matter how convenient it is, will not accomplish that.

  45. I was going to say this thing would be great if you wanted to take a video or pictures at a concert or something like that. However, with the low light conditions being so shitty… I fail to see any other reason to have this :/

  46. Wow, so they made a 200 Quid camera that takes poor photos in low light and has no flash that's Bluetooth connected to your phone draining yet more device battery.

    You can buy a better handheld camera / HD shooter for that money and get better shots for less money.

    This is aimed right between the smart phone camera and the mid ranged point and shoots and it does worse.

    Flop for sure with the amazon fire phone.
