  2. I have Htc e8 same phone like m8 only plastic design. I never saw m8 in real life but I saw m9 in mobile shop and looks and feels amazing even better than Iphone 6 or Sony xperia z phones. Only complain is camera and speaker's are downgrade from m8/e8 they still sound amazing but not loud like m8 and sounds like audiophile device.

  7. I could have got a m9 but I decided to stay with my m8. I have a silly problem with my top button though it keeps acting as if I'm holding it down . I had it since launch so it's okay got another one coming in the mail love the m8 over the m9 . had the m7, the amaze , and the sensation. and I must say the m9 is still good just not worth another 600 because nothing really changed.

  17. The m7 design was and still is the best design in a phone to me. Until htc can top that design, I'm gonna have to go with Samsung.

  19. I think HTC One M9 as expected. I was ready to buy the HTC One m9 and give my m8 to a friend but, now I think I'm just gonna stick with my m8. I pefer having a better rear camera than a selfie camera scince I take pictures of other things and not that much selfies. By the way HTC has updated the m8 and now the notification bar is the same as the m9's. The one thing I love most about the HTC One M9 is the new themes.

  24. my internet is slow but let me guess the content of the video …[Display is not that impressive , audio we know is gr 8, battery life is yet to be judged ] 

  25. I don't understand some design choices: they decrease the speaker holes number but the speaker part width is increased; the camera lens are protruding but they increased the side thickness of the device especially near the bezels

The same thing always happens when a new device model is announced… 75% of the people on here posting negative feedback are people who have the M8 and can't upgrade immediately or people who are trolling about minor stuff. The M7 and M8 were phone of the year by many reviewers. The M9 has octa core, 3 gigs of ram, the high megapixel camera with EIS that everyone wanted on the M8, a quartz crystal lens, a built in theme changer, micro SD slot, a good size battery for 1080p display who most people hoped they stuck with, etc, etc.

    All of this complaining about the bezel, the look of the speaker, etc is just nitpick stuff… I am getting the M9 for sure. I got the M7 on launch day but passed on the M8 because they kept the Ultrapixel camera. Now THIS is the upgrade from the M7 that i wanted! The M7 has every feature the M8 has when rooted.

  27. Wow the gods of build quality and software optimization have done it again ! I am so glad they haven't changed the design too much, I love the look of the m8. the massive 2840mAh battery is going to rock with that snapdragon 810 chip. I guess I am going to have to use the front facing camera for lowlights situations tho.

  29. so i need an opinion. I am looking at the htc one m7 but my grandma also has the xperia x that she wants to give to me. which phone would be a better phone?
