Back in the day I did ask samsung itself thru their homepage whether this phone has gorilla glass or not, they answered me within 2 days and the answer was sad because it certainly does not have gorilla glass.
it isn't 5 MP it's 8 MP
as far as i know, it doesnt have gorilla glass… dunno about any other kind of protection
its lucky if im not buy lumia 710
nokia smartphone is sucks!
JB update confirmed!
what scratch resistant glass does this have?
samsung will update this phone to ICS end of the year?
It would be a mistake to buy this phone as it is very unlikely that Samsung will bother updating this phone. Its already happening with the galaxy S2. Android jellybean is out and there are no plans for it to be rolled out for the galaxy s2. They just want you to buy a new handset every 3 weeks.
You can update it if you're crying over it.
how to take a picture? zoom?
SAMSUNG WILL BE UPDATING THIS PHONE TO ICE, 1-2 MONTHS LATER
Honeycomb was only for tablets. This should run ICS, there is no reason not to. like i mentioned before The all three HTC ONE series phone run ICS
They break easier. My sister HTC-phone broke after she dropped it twice. I've had my Galaxy for almost 2 years and dropped it several time, yet it still works perfectly and has no noticeable scratch.
HTC phones are the best, durable, classy and made of high
@FenixTechNation lol One X sucks. Samsung will always lead HTC no matter what 😀
gingerbread???? FUCK off!
I'd choose the galaxy nexus over this solely because of the lack of ICS on the hardware. I've had my taste of gingerbread and its getting old. I chose a galaxy nexus over the s2 because ICS just feels better than gingerbread. There are a lot of rumors of ICS coming to different models so I say grab the experience of the sandwich if you can. Its worth it!
I thing this isn't a mid ranged device.
@porky247 my 2yr upgrade isn't until April 2013. Hopefully by then they release a phone with a removable battery 😉
HTC has not disappointed YET. I hope it stays that way. I'm done with this rant. stay classy YouTube.
I feel bad for original Samsung Galaxy S users that won't be getting ICS. the phone was released in the summer of 2010(USA{august I believe }). ICS was announced in November which would be 15mos since the Galaxy S was released. the Google agreement was 18mos. I guess that went out the window. I love Android, however OEMs like Samsung and Motorola give android a bad name, when it comes time to upgrade. if XDA can cook up ROMs for free(please donate) then why can't these HUGE CORPORATIONS do it? H
my comment was for Samsung. its 2012 and the specs for this phone can handle ICS. should froyo devices still be released today because its targeted towards mid-to-low range phones? the Evo 4G can run ICS roms… HTC One X, S & V all run ICS. I feel like no matter how much money you want to spend everyone should receive at least top of the line for whatever phone you buy. shoot you'll be paying for it for 2yrs! I have the Evo 3d thank goodness. I feel bad for original Samsung Galaxy S users that
Android Central didn't create the phone, genius.
Samsung needs to not have an army of crap phones. I love HTC's new strategy. Samsung should follow that marketing strategy and focus on quality over quantity, though the GS3 has some nice specs.
btw, is that a Liverpool accent? Haha I'm trying to teach myself how to differentiate between different British accents
