"Long term"? That fits well with today's perception of a long term relationship:
We were together for two months!
– Good for you!
Fair. Good job
Loving my 6 pro. The radio could be better but reception is good. Everything else is flagship quality. I can't wait for the 7 to come out to see where Google takes this.
It hasn't been long term so how could you possibly be doing a long term review? I've owned the pixel 6 since launch day I do not think that qualifies as long term!
Watching both is just for Indians
I wish they weren't so big. I'd buy one only if it had a roughly 5 inch screen.
The screens on these phones are too dim
Pixel 6 is fantastic Phone. After December Update works everything Just well
Front camera on this phone ,is so ugly even after update ,nothing changed ,too bad for my false hopes
Google phones are a beauty to look at
Im concerned about all of the cell reception issues I'm seeing people have with these phones. Might just wait for the 7.
The definition of "long term" has really changed.
Long term? It's only been 2 months since the release smh
When I had the Pixel 6, the battery life was atrocious. The numbers on the indicator decreased almost like a count down clock. Lol.
Plus, the phone constantly over heated. It would over heat while charging, surfing the web, it'll even stay really warm just playing podcasts.
Don't get me started on the finger print scanner. And I'm not just talking slowness, no, I'm talking about fail rate. I even reregistered my main unlocking finger multiple times. I mean, The whole situation was very disheartening.
Now, I have the Pixel 6 Pro and, let me tell you, this thing is a pure CHAMP! 😊Battery is better. Finger print scanner is better. Doesn't over heat. Battery is leaps and bounds better. AND I am supposed to get an update to make it even more better??? Oh man. Best phone experience I've EVER had and that used to go to both my Nexus 6p and my OnePlus 7 Pro.
Personally, I think the reason for so many disparate experiences is due to the Tensor chip. More importantly: the AI learning.
Not that it's broken or doesn't work, but being that it's nature is to personalize the user experience to each user, which we all have different user habits, I can for see this being the cause of why each one is commenting contradictory experiences.
This is speculative on my part, but I can't come up with anything else. Maybe it just needs to be fine tuned in an update so some general things will be more consistent across the board. Let's see when they crank out this update
How's this long term if the phone only been out for 2 months 💀🤣
Long term???
Nice to see the long-term review is out and my pre-ordered 6 Pro hasn't even shipped yet…
in malaysia the only good thing about pixel is the camera.other than that not worth especially the battery is not enough for oneday use.
I upgraded my Pixel 5 to a 6, used it for a couple weeks, and then tossed it in the drawer. It's just too big for my tastes. Sure it's got neat features, but I just don't enjoy using it (I'm a one-hander). So sad they went away from a smaller form factor all together. It was nice to have the option. Oh and that fingerprint scanner is atrocious.
Do you update security December ?!
I have been using it for a month, but I am not getting a good battery life out of it. Idk why.
My OnePlus 7t Pro is still working fine! So even though I love this Google Pixel Line Up, I am gonna wait for the 7 Series next year. With hope of a few refinements and upgrades for example to the Video, fingerprint sensor etc.
Also I would like to see 2 different finishes to the back, like the iPhone, where the Pro model gets a matt back and the non-pro a shiny glass one
Dude.. This is absolutely NOT a "long-term review"! This is purely a SHORT-term review! Give us the real long-term review in about 10months like every one else doeing long-term reviews..
And no.. Previous Pixel looked nothing like the fugly iPhone. It looks more like a cheap Huawei Mate series.
And is it not VRR / Dynamic 120Hz? Then it will mostly stay in 60Hz anyway since most apps don't even use 120Hz… So that really does not sound like a bug…
Camera is also better for people with darker complexions. Didn't make much difference to this reviewer but still overlooked.
battery life sucks in US, I hate unnecessary 5g drain here
Nice video
Long term isn't 2 months. Try again in 10 months.
GOAT BACK! Where’ve you been Alex?
The big december update with the P6 specific bug fix list came in last night so im happy
Thanks for the great review Alex!
Shame about the speakers. Tried the normal 6 in the store since they had no Pro and the speakers were noticeably worse than the ones on my OnePlus 7 Pro. Was hoping the 6 Pro would do better. Especially if you see how insanely good the 13 Pro speakers are. Also, quite a shame that there seems to be little detail gained by that bigger, higher-resolution sensor. I was hoping that with a new sensor they would focus on getting more natural shots and whilst the white balance is by far the best of any phone I do think the pictures have look artificial in terms of exposure and noise reduction. Telephoto is amazing tho, its the same sensor as the main camera of the OnePlus 7 series.
Great to hear about the battery, loads of reviewers uploaded within 2 weeks of the launch and complained about the battery. Shows the importance of long-term.
FIRST COMMENT!
I’m an Apple sheep. But I gotta give praise when it’s deserve. This is an excellent phone, Google!
