  1. another reason i am getting the spigen case is beacuse the plastic on the phone makes it look cheap

  2. I've used the super slim one from caseology since I bought the n6 , I've dropped it plenty of times with the case on and all I have to show for it is a very very small knick in the top left corner

  3. The screen is the most fragile part of the phone by far, and very few cases provide much (if any) protection for the screen.

One of the cases I got was a love mei case, and even though it is extremely durable and proves a deep protection, I would probably rather not even use a case.

The sides of the phone are difficult to swipe because the sides are deep. The case is monstrous. It is also ridiculously heavy. No actual screen protector. Love Mei claims it can't have a screen protector because the screen of the nexus has a curved edge, but I can't say that I agree with them. It would appear that the phone fits quite flush (and therefore snug) in the case, meaning that it could easily have a front screen protection.

The other case I got was a cheap-o from ebay, but it seems to be the best case you can get for the nexus 6 by a mile:

Already helped save my phone on drops, as well as from rain drops.

  4. I miss the flat back my other phones had. I'll be looking for a case that makes the phone lay flat on tables.

  5. i am using a nexus 6 bumper which is made by nillkin which is better than the cases which u showed in this video this bumper is more protective and more affordable it costs about 13 dollars

  6. I am in the market to buy a sturdy, expensive, worth the money case. I recently broke my screen when I dropped my phone with the folio case. It is absolutely useless, waste of money. I expect better from Android authority, because after 48 hours of relentless youtubing, review reading, and contemplating; none of these cases will be bought with my money. None of them seem to pass any sort of drop test, specifically flat face drop test. There are so far 2 cases that I have seen that may do the job but are expensive as well: UAG Nexus 6 and Ballistic Maxx everything else seems subpar and a waste of money. Do better AA! Do better!

  7. Could you please do a video about car mounts? Especially those that can hold the larger android phones such as the Nexus 6 with a case.

  8. Another worth mentioning is Ringke, who makes 3 different models for the N6. I got the Fusion, which comes in 3 different variations. It's rigid like a shell case but installs and removes as easily as a skin. On the bottom corner, it has cutouts to attach a strap hook.

  9. Spigen slim armor cases are nice. Outer shell and inner lining are built well and feel solid, buttons have a nice tactile feel but that kickstand is not built well to hold the weight of the case with a phone. I have a Note 4 with the slim armor and i use it to watch YouTube vids and video media nearly on a daily basis. The kickstand didn't last very long near 2 months with that kind of usage and broke at the hinge arms. Buyer beware it's a great protective case, but with a flimsy kickstand. Hoping Spigen would change the kickstand to stronger build materials for the next generation of the armor series. On the lookout for another case with a better kickstand.

  10. I'm speechless. That first kickstand case is so grotesque that I thought this must be a joke video – just can't believe it so casually defaces the Nexus branding. And the second case allows you to slap your scratchy credit cards on the screen, I'm lost for words. I thought April fools day had come early. I just couldn't watch any more.
