It’s that time of year in which Google tends to dump a bunch of year-end updates on us. Some good. Some … could use a little more time in the oven. We take a look at some of the bigger changes of the past couple weeks â€â€Ã‚ including the major Android Wear 5.0.1 update â€â€Ã‚ and see what’s worked out, and what needs more work.

So much for "something next week"…. 🙁
I understand what you guys are saying on OTA updates, but I would be careful telling people to wipe their device cache.  I did that after my Nexus 5 received the OTA to 5.0 and it completely soft bricked my phone.  It was stuck in a boot loop after wiping the device cache.  I had to unlock the bootloader and flash the factory image from Google to make the phone work again.  That night was absolute hell.  In my world, wiping the device cache should ONLY be done by someone very experienced and should only be done as an absolute last resort if the phone is totally unusable.
I see you Phil, I found the video.
