I use a case because the back side of my phone is really slippery
I haven't used a phone case/screen protector since 2010 and the only phone I broke was also an LG G2 😂
I also wanted to add that if you have a phone that is very slippery then yes definitely go with the case because some phones are slippery and some are not my current phone it is not very slippery and so I'm very lucky but I did a few years ago have a Galaxy Galaxy S6 and that thing was very easy to lose grip off and the place is where I would put it it was always sliding around so it was definitely drop prone but like I said ultimately it goes by what device you have and it's a level of slippery if the phone is slippery definitely get a case or at least a gel case some of the cases do at a lot of bulk to the phone and don't look so good but they do their job they keep the phone from getting dinged up and if you're going to trade your phone and you definitely wanted as clean as possible to get the larger trade-in allowance but nowadays I don't even think anybody does that anymore I think most people nowadays just keep their old phones so ultimately what's the big issue I don't know to me I think putting a case on a phone is like a guy that buys a new car and put seat covers on right away so that the next owner can have seats that are like brand new I feel that you paid the big money for it why not use it I mean think about it you paid 800 $1,000 maybe even more for a nice device and you cover it up I mean that's just ridiculous why would you do that I mean I look at it like this if I got the money to drop 800 a thousand twelve hundred $1,500 on a phone then I'm probably not going to have this phone more than a year maybe two years tops so if that's the case why wouldn't I go naked I mean the only way I would probably do a case on my phone is if I had maybe some job where I was working construction or something of that nature something where I was very active walking around having to use my phone on a consistent basis then yes I would use the case because I know I'm going to be using my phone a lot I know I'm going to be walking around and yeah I case would make sense but if I'm going to get a phone and only keep it one year maybe two years what's the point I just rocket naked because I'm up first of all I'm only going to have the phone 2 years tops and it's like that's really not a long time and besides why should the guy who buys it a couple of years later who pays a quarter of the price that I paid why should he get a pristine phone I mean I paid $1,000 they're going to pay $400 and their phone should be pristine why why shouldn't somebody who buys a used device get a phone with a few scratches or dings I mean they're buying it used in their saving a lot of money and they're buying an older device why would someone that's like going to a car lot and you say yeah give me that 10 or 15 or 20 year old car but it better look like new
Well I'm responding years later because I just happened to catch this video recently I would say definitely go with the case if you're young and active if you're hobnobbing around town going to clubs bars BBQs hanging outside if you're an active person by all means have some sort of protection but if you're older like myself I don't really get out a lot I basically go to work and come home Mike phone generally at work is sitting either in my car or on a desk so there's very little chances of it being dropped I would say the few times I've ever dropped a phone it's usually been at home and I would say since I started buying smartphones I've probably dropped my phone maybe five times and luckily it was always at a low enough height that there was never any damage done I do believe one time I did drop a phone and it did sustain a little bit of damage but not to the screen was just a mark to the side of the phone but other than that I will say most people do want their phones pristine for some strange reason one thing I will say if you do drop a phone and you do get a mark on it it'll bother you that Mark will bother you that one little scratch that one little flaw because you have this good looking device with this one ding on it and it will bother the hell out of you but eventually you'll probably get over it and remember ultimately even if you have a phone that has a ding on it you won't have the phone forever at some point it will be replaced and you get to start anew
2:58 that's exactly the problem. I'd rather use a case, be safe & then be able to do whatever I want, whenever I want…
lol , you serious ?
To sum up these guys would put anything sponsor has to offer but case
Well, if you don't want your Nice new all glass phone not to break, better have a case. Who thought it was a good idea to make a phone completely out of glass?
even i don't quite like to put on a case but my hands sweat a lot.So in that case should i use a case?? 😅 Please suggest.
Why I always use a case and screen protector?
After using my phone for 6 months it will get scratched and have wear and tear, in that case I will have to spend a lot to have the new look and get a new phone but I use cases and screen protectors so I just spend around 20$ and the phone is brand new plus I drop my phone a lot so it doesn't break.
Even I don’t like cases
I buy case for protecting my camera lens from scratches
I prefer thin cases that protect the screen. I am not that much worried of dropping the phone. Tick cases with credit card places are stupid. It is like having a brick on your pocket.
Tempered glasses make your phone ugly
Since I can drop my phone while sitting and using it, and not flush with the ready to be continually replacing it, I use a case as well as a screen protector. Unfortunately they cover up the "good looks" of the phone but I also am not walking around with smashed, scratched, and dented corners or screens I can no longer see because they have been cracked. I live near university and see the phones students carry and most of their screens are so cracked you can hardly see what is displayed. Guess I would qualify for a butterfingers award, eh? All good…
All my friends think ios can do everything Android is capable of doing apple can to
I just use a case becouse the back of my phone is glass
Like a gurl without makeup I prefer it natural
I always put my phone in cases, even just a thin hardcase i never let my phone naked ðŸ˜Â
The designers intent? What, the slipperiness? If the designer made the phone less slippery maybe we wouldn't use one.
Hey just wondering if you actually sell your phones on your website without any problems because I have seen some issues regarding phone missing parts and phone being slower than buying it from the original seller
I have had quite a few phones now (one a year) and I have yet to lose our break one. I never drop mine (I throw it onto a pillow out a bed when I get home and I have a habit of throwing phones to my friends if I'm using theirs or they want to use mine. Believe it or not they don't like it)
Easy to say when manufacturers actually pay you to use their phones unlike the rest of us who have to fork out our own hard earned cash. And this video is old, the newer phones have glass on the back due to wireless charging and that's not going away, so will I put a case on my $1000 phone? Hell ya!
What about Hello Kitty and rabbit cases with ears? Some girls love them.
I go naked at home and cover up rest of the time ðŸ˜Å
The intro CLASSIIIIC!!!!!!! 🤣😂
I love tpu cases and zizo cases there ion series is amazing and I always have to have a tempered glass on my screen
I'm a student. Do I need one?
Oh lawdy. I'd prefer not to use a case, but I'm such a klutz and drop it ALL the time! Love the small form factorand how it feels w/o it though.
I got no case for my lg Optimus zone 3 and I can't find a case for it
if you dont have case your phone will get scracth on
Jesus christ, yeah no shit they don't like cases, they just get free ones constantly, don't listen to these guys, they've collectively broken tons of phones, for god sakes, get a case.
Can someone tell me the kind of case that has no cover on the top and down but has cover both left and right sides??
too thin to hold…
I HATE phone cases with passion! But my past three phones- I broke each one of them. And I don't wanna break my fourth one either. But the idea of a case on my brand new, very nice looking phone just haunts me- no matter how 'thin' or 'transparent' the case may be.
