If you have the Nexus One and Android 2.2, you can start to take advantage of the color trackball notifications.

I can't believe anyone thought this could compete with the iPhone.
is this not in the current versions of cyanogen mod?
would this work on the t-mobile g1????
does this work with an HTC desire?
WTF HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO THIS!!!!
i have stock 2.2 on my nexus one, there is no trackball colors in the menus like you show.
this isnt on my settings what do i need to do is it ann app or something ??
i dont get it…you're using 2.1 OF CURSE it have color trackball, but not on Froyo until some custome roms shows up
It doesn't show me that on my options…
I have to use 3rd part apps to customise my trackball colours, and none of them have a breathing light option either!
How'd you get those options?
So the nexus one originally had different colored LEDs for the trackball, but they weren't in use until now?
whats the name of that music!? I love it!
It's really strange that Google doesn't use that hardware feature in neither 2.1 nor 2.2 (as far as I know). Also, I heard that the Nexus One has an FM receiver & transmitter. Which means you could wirelessly over FM waves play your songs to your car or any FM receiver. Wouldn't that be AWESOME! But still, Google didn't implement or use this in their OS…WHY?
@Hanklink1014 Hmmm, I guess like a notification light then? Like on a Blackberry?
Not part of Froyo Official release i hazard a guess, would be nice but unlikely.
LOVE ANDROIDCENTRAL 😀
what the fuck?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! theres no option to do that without rooting!!
What do they mean by "breathing light"?
i love android central
