  17. It will be laughable if Team Trump tries to pull off an Ineffective Assistance of Counsel (IAC) claim if (when) he is found guilty by the jury.

    If a former president of the United States of America cannot put together an "effective" legal team, what chance do everyday U.S. citizens have to secure effective counsel?

    This Trump team is certainly using a bizarre strategy but it's only because they have no rational defense to present.

    I can't believe that one trivial gaffe from Michael Cohen could warrant a Falsus In Uno, Falsus in Omnibus charge. Who among us has photographic recall of phone calls made years ago, whether I had one conversation or divided it in two topics.

    I looked up the phrase, BTW, on Wikipedia. Can anyone, with a straight face, say that this calls into question everything Michael has said? I sure can't.

    With the prosecution having made a dozen touchdowns, I can't imagine any serious analysis making too much of the defense making a field goal.

    and the reason cohen would hold out 30k was because of trump's questionable ethics

  27. It’s just astonishing that Michael Cohen went to prison for this while Trump is free as a bird! To think that Michael Cohen did this on his own accord is ridiculous!! It was Trump’s actions that led to the payment!! Why would Cohen do this… not for himself!!

  33. Of course he belongs behind bars, but I don't feel optimistic about it. Considering his criminal life over the past 40+ years, he should have been locked up years ago. But the media chose to make him a celebrity character and the legal system allowed him to pay his way out of issues. This continues.
