Kabul Small Animal Rescue is run by Charlotte Maxwell-Jones from Tennessee and started in 2019. They are the only 24 hour animal rescue/veterinary clinic in Afghanistan. Charlotte is organizing a massive animal airlift to the U.S. at the end of the month. It will include 90 cats and 160 dogs that all have secured placement with adopters or foster based rescues throughout the country. Their shelter in Kabul is overflowing, and lowering their population is the only way they can survive as a clinic, shelter, and sanctuary for the animals that need it most.
