For devices sold in the USA, foreign eSIMs will not be transferred. You'll either need to get an international data plan from your current carrier, or you'll need to buy a separate device for use with a foreign SIM card, even though most variants support dual SIM.
I've always used "Smart Switch"to make sure the new phone is setup exactly as the previous one as I like the way everything is arranged….may try this method on the next one
"after a few minutes you'll be all set to ur new device" … that's not the case when I bought my S22 Ultra. It took hours to transfer all the data (I have a lot of pictures & 4K videos) from the old S10 Plus. And I have Fiber internet. I ended up transferring all the pictures & videos to my PC first, finished the phone transfer without the pictures & videos, and once it's done, transfer the pictures & videos from my PC to the new S22 Ultra via USB-C.
I prefer using cable. Just to make sure the connection doesnt drop or anything.

Well samsung is doing such setup way back. I setup my s22 ultra from my galaxy note 10 lite.
I basically set up phone for a living in this is a lifesaver I did like five today but it does the whole transfer thing itself
Thought that was the usual routine with Samsung's? I did that with my S21 Ultra around a year ago
