I stumbled across a scammer from Nigeria who was sending out fake checks. I managed to convince him to let me in on his operation and then I sabotaged it!
Don’t accept fake checks and don’t take jobs mailing them out either.

Good work. It's scary how many victims they can find.
I remember seeing variants of this on Craigslist over 10 years ago. Especially the one wanting to buy your motorcycle/car and send back the difference on the check they send you.
The Nigerians are still using that old Secret Shopper scam? They've gotten so boring I don't even bother baiting them anymore. Love what you're doing! "Ben Dover" 😆
So you call them a dumdum and don't actually explain to them that they were scammed. Great work
That is hilarious. I had someone trying to scam me once and I took the check to the police for them to investigate. There was a mule in Utah and another in Connecticut I was supposed to send money to. I love messing with these assholes. I told one SSA scammer to go bleep himself, I told another my 2 dogs would tear him apart if he tried to serve his fake papers and I told another one I would hold him at gunpoint until the police come as I was a Security Officer but would have turned him over to the police. I have every type of scam call me the best one was about 2 months ago when they tried to do the DHS scam I said well that's nice but I'm an American and told her to go hump a camel.
😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I had a call for Chloe one time and I answered. Now I got tons of calls after that after confirming that was my name. Oops!
6:18 ME NO DUM DUM YOU DUM DUM YOU BRING ME GUM GUM
Kudos to you, Vortextrace , for your exceptional commitment to protecting us from these dishonest scammers. It is of utmost importance that we prioritize the safety and well-being of the elderly and the general public by taking all necessary measures against these reprehensible con artists. You are truly deserving of praise!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
So I guess when the check bounces, how does the scammer make money from this?
i just love these videos..
My first time on this channel (Perogi sent me) and the snippet of Lord Elrond saying "Destroy it!" was all I needed for a slap at the old Subscribe-button!
😄 that was actually funny!
It's weird how eager they are to hire a stranger.
Thank you for exposing these evil low lives. Was scammed through Facebook for five hundred dollars. I got a message from one of my friends. I live in Canada and I get lots of their scams through my phone so I just delete. They are constantly changing their scams and they pretend to be government your bank. Why are these evil *** not in prison!
It was worth it to hear the impatient ranting of the scammer
A Dum Dum how appropriate.
Hard to protect ignorant, greedy people from themselves, let alone scammers intent on using scammed people’s own tendencies. Natural selection?
the issue is the scammer was too cheap to pay you. If he payed upfront, or at least pay part of the salary he promised, 99% of people wouldn't blink an eye in sending random crap through the post office, especially when it's not obvious dangerous material. It's just paperwork, right? He could have offered to pay for the supplies you bought at least, that way he would made you feel morally responsable for the packages you were handling.Thankfully for all of us, the scammers aren't that smart, either…
This Man is genius 😂
Kick tic tok off the internet, just more cheap Chinese junk!
I love how you expose him
i almost got the info off an insta scammer it's just wild how the metaverse is basically designed to keep us all in the dark on this stuff.
looks like you wasted a lot of money though….
I love messing with these people. I took one of them down a long boring story that ended up with her as my illegitimate daughter and her mother a street whore. She couldn't stop swearing at me. Even called back to swear at me some more.
Very creative
First clear red flag: placement of periods in text. Why your grammar matters, people.
I am part of a scam baiting team and a couple of years ago I was talking to my nephew and I don’t know how we got on the subject of scam baiting but I told him about what I do and he mentioned that he saw an offer to get $600 a month for having his car wrapped with the Budweiser logo.
At the time I had never heard of the car wrap scam but I told him it sounds like a scam. He initially thought it was real but once I told him about scammers, he went on and played along and the scammer sent him a check and of course the amount exceeded the $600 and he was told to deposit the check in his ATM and then send the scammer the balance. Of course this is the usual check over payment scam.
Since I had told my nephew about scams, he kept making up excuses to the scammer as to why he hadn’t cashed the check. Eventually the scammer gave up and stopped contacting him.
It is not wise to give these people your home address because you truly do not know what extent they will go to to get money from you. Fortunately for my nephew nothing happened but some of these scammers are extremely vicious and will blackmail you or whatever so do not give scammers any of your personal information including your home address, bank information, Social Security number credit card information etc.
One of your best videos
😂😂😂, I might have shed a tear laughing
LMAO!!!
Have you scammed a scammer to give you $ 😂
You have an awesome job catching scammers and toying with them. Im ok with computers but not as good as you
Because your a “dum dum”
🤣🤣🤣
I think you written it was a scam so those 80 people know and wont be foole again or did I miss something and they knew?
What you post makes me hopeful for the future. I was someone who would be the spearhead of many scams and didn not get scammed, but only because of my agression and intelligence. These videos show me hope for the future gen as they did not exist prior and teach a valuable lesson i wish i had prior
