In this video I want to talk about what it would have been like to be locked up at Alcatraz and compare that to what I know personally of being locked up myself. I also just got a really interesting Alcatraz item as well.
Show some love and Sub to the channel..!!!

Sucatash is diced carrots and corn
I am from SF been to the Rock a few times. Super fun the views are spectacular.
You could do research and do a series of what certain prisons are and or were like
Joe, you know you be on that Succotash!! Mashing up your corn and lima beans all together an stuff…Just eating it all by yourself, not even sharing it. JK man, keep up the good works.
When are you going to do that trip to Alcatraz JoeðŸ¤â€Ã°Å¸ËœÅ’. Ive always been interested in learning more about it
Beans how I live out here in California really close to San Francisco I will check on the status of the tours through Alcatraz and get back with you on that in the meanwhile can I get a shoutout on your Channel I would really appreciate it
Some things to understand: People were smaller back then. The average height and weight during Al Capone's time was around 5'7" and #150. Their serving sizes would seem meager to us, but they got fresh meat and fresh veggies with every meal. The "breakfast/dinner/supper" terms were the most commonly used terms in the USA for the three meals then. The meals described are what any working man could expect to eat. Supermarkets didn't exist, there was less variety of foods available, and pre-packaged convenience snack foods like potato chips were practically unheard of. Most of what you used to buy on commissary didn't even exist. Food was fresh, canned, or frozen. Even orange juice came in a can or was fresh-squeezed.
I toured Alcatraz three times in the past. Each tour was differently interesting.
Sounds delicious menu
Could you escape from there
Yo they ate better in there than me in the pen😳
Id say amazing food!
soured pickles are very famous here in Pakistan
Every prison these days is so packed over capacity its not even funny!!
$0.20 an hour in 1960 is the equivalent to about $2.50 an hour today. Prisoners make wayyy less now than they did.
Joe Super fan of your show go to Alcatraz over a million people do every year if you do please make video
29 years. What a waste of money.
