Funny and sweet
SawStop is an amazing piece of machinery…only problem is that doing that demonstration junks that blade…and it's ~$70/ea to replace it…for those who don't know how it works, the saw runs a low-voltage current through the blade, and when the charge grounds out (be it into human skin, a hotdog, a staple/nail, or even wet timber) the blade retracts and a steel bolt slams through it to immediately stop rotation. Had one in both my undergrad shop and at my previous job.
