I say Arizona is the most leading a conservation state in the United States everybody there in Arizona has special prison or jail one way or the other
In the UK we don’t have felonies or misdemeanours and cannabis (which you said in the US you get up to a year) you can get up to 5 years HOWEVER in the first instance you get a street warning (you don’t even get arrested) and in the second instance it’s a £90 (about $120) fine (again on the street, no arrest)
By the way, I’ve never been in trouble and the only thing I could get would be a small covid fine maybe. I just know a fair bit about this stuff
