11. everyone has to understand that EMT can only do so much for someone with a stroke we cannot administer an IV or puncture skin. Only ALS paramedics can. I think she did a good jump gave him O2 on a nonribreather and Nitro to lower the BP. Take care of the ABCs all EMTs can do. Hospital takes care of the rest. Unless you are EMT, paramedic, or doctor. SHUTUP haha

15. Ah yes giving a vasodilator to a potential hemorrhagic stroke. Nothing like making it bleed even more and possibly killing your patient. Not all paramedics are created equal.

19. I have a special place in my heart for stroke patients and survivors, as I am also a stroke survivor 💜 God bless the EMTs that keep us alive long enough to get to the hospital, we truly appreciate you!

24. This is not how Paramedics treat patients. Please know there is a distinction and big difference between EMT and Paramedic. EMT are trained technicians, true Paramedics are degree qualified individuals who have a higher theoretical knowledge and educated more extensively on pharmacology, pathophysiology and differential/provisional diagnosis. This depends on what state or country you are in however the standard for Paramedic in many places is a Bachelor of Paramedicine or equivalent, minimum.
