15. Not looking to totally defund the police. Looking to fund social services and other agencies to help with domestic violence, mental cases and incidences in those fields, so police can be freed up to work more on active shooters, robberies in progress and other incidents like that. IT IS NOT TO DEFUND THE POLICE ALTOGETHER. I wish the media, and people the media talks to about this, would say this and make this more clear. When people mention “defunding the police”, those words alone have people jumping to the conclusion that , overall, the entire police force is going to be loosing desperately needed funds to keep the citizenry safe.
