  1. For some reason I see things from the dogs point of view, and when Michael said he didn't want to see any more dogs, he wanted Tennessee, I was a blubbering wreck. I rescued a greyhound that was no good for racing. The most reported way of dealing with greyhounds is, if the dog is lucky, to shoot it. If it is unlucky, smash it's skull with a hammer. But I got my boy from a trainer that sends ALL his unwanted dogs to the greyhound adoption program. Now rescuing a greyhound is like what Paws & Stripes does but in reverse. The dog is the traumatized one, but my boy is now so calm and gentle and brave, he works as a therapy dog, and is asked for by name, because he is so good, so Paws & Stripes…keep up the good work and keep helping the dogs as well.
