  1. I stand corrected on my comments regarding the roof, it should be"glued" or panel bonded because as it is aluminum, also Arthur DID rivet it back in place. I think I made it pretty clear though this guy is among the best of the best! Kudos Arthur!

  2. The car wasn't that bad once panels were removed but them chassis rails needed to be replaced they were seriously weakened

  3. Been a fan of Arthur’s for a few years, his work is incredible, watched a Porsche repair video a couple of months ago were he’d replaced the front and rear end and left about 3 feet of original car in the middle 😳

  4. Don’t be mad and make up stuff because he’s got skills. I see cars on the road that are rusted to the core abs still rolling.

  5. Some individuals do not put limits on their ability of what they can accomplish, case in point. Maybe he’s testing his ability, against man and machine.

  6. Everything he done there is completely perfect.. his repairs and finish are actualy stronger and better than you would ever get at the factory. Body glue is absolutely standard for panels,especially the roof.. just as strong as spot welds.. alot of vehicles these days are glued.. also a man of this calibre knows if the structural integrity is breached and needs swapped out well in advance.. a master at his craft. (kenny knights bmw body tech,23 years).

  7. Pity you didn't admit from the start that you are not an 'expert'. In fact far from it. Repairing a few easy write offs doesn't make you an expert structural engineer. You are guessing your way through this video. Your commenting on a geniuses work like Arthur is like a ten year old who's just learnt to play chess critiquing a grand master.

Sam,to those that are shuddering at the use of glue ,it needs to be said that this is not the same product that you ate in kindergarten.Industrial adhesive is very strong, so strong that those used in home construction are stronger than the wood products that are being joined by the adhesive after 48 hours cure time! While the same can't be said of metal adhesives rest assured that the engineering and failure testing has rendered them safe.

  9. I have no problem with buying cars from Arthur I live here in the United States I buy two to three cars a year from him after doing repairs praise Arthur

  10. This car would have been labeled irrepairable in Canada and the rails should have been replaced but that said it is a pleasure seeing Arthur's skill.

  11. Its amazing how cosmetically good hè repaired it. However, this is a deathtrap and I hope hè is not using his skills to sell this crap to unknowing buyers

  12. I find no fault with his level of skill, he is a craftsman. That being said, what he is doing is illegal in the states, and with good reason. Those frame rails will fold up like foil in another crash. In Russia, that likelihood is very real.

  13. The integrity of hss or chromolly is only affected when it is heated to molten, it then becomes brittle, if the steel isn't creased there is no issue straightening it.

  16. Well first of…comments are really ment to be constructive. I will write with respect.. The car was crashed…heavily..and sustained a relative impact from the impact shock..and that shock, has been deflected throughout the car…Yes one can remove panels and refit them as near to factory spec as possible…and it's possible better. As in race cars..but one has to be careful in this area.
    Arthur, does have a talent in relation to the dent direction physics…he follows it in and the returns…so he is able to visualise…the impact moment. Welding ..spot welding etc is acceptable..you notice that he uses almost 0 heat…instead he taps the steel so as to shock it back…and never excessive. By welding another piece in, is acceptable, he is returning it as near original as possible and again should be with in 'the manufacturers parameters'… Yes there are some that are far less professional than Authur standard..l have actually witnessed bodggers…body work..and my eyes rolled back in disbelief..l will not explain the words used…So in the end, yes he does do an excellent job on the videos that we see..and yes it takes time to do the work..maybe he is simply teaching us a lesson or 2…and maybe others will learn from him to do a better job….l have learnt…a bit..So please understand that things can be achieved without a bodged job…
    The only real physical effect would be that the stresses which are balanced at manufacturing will be different..But then again..they are really stressed..
    If the car is driven logically this would not come into play……no different if one put a roll cage in..you would change the physical movements…therefore would it make it more dangerous..or safer👍

  17. I don't think Arthur would even waste his time if it wasn't done correctly. He is a master at hammering metal back into shape. I mean that literally!!! He is!!!! He truly is a master craftsman.

Panel Beater to trade garage I worked in the70s, 80%of vehicles I repaired were insurance write offs, but I never cut through pillars , chassis legs were replaced back to factory joins, in those days if you did what Arthur does with legs, they would lose more than half rigidity strength , about as much strength as a bean can

Lithuania, not Russia, and Arthur is a LEGEND!   99.99% of so-called 'panel beaters' or 'bodyshop technicians' in the US or UK/western Europe couldn't hope to reach his skill level in a million years!  The repaired cars are shipped back to the US or western Europe (wherever they'll come up clean on data-checks… if they've even been recorded in the first place) and command western retail prices.  The owners will never know they bought a 'premium' motor that's travelled half-way round the world for bodywork.

  20. the video says the roof is made of aluminum, so how can it be welded to a sheet metal made of steel? one is gluing (designed for greatest strength) it and putting rivets. Rivets is oldest forms in joining metals long before the arc welding (SMAW,FCAW,GMAW and GTAW are arc welding process) . Rivets were used during the construction of RMS Titanic.

  21. Author Tusik does amazing work!!! Probably just as good as factory….he knows his shit period. dangerous no… practical….If your doing for yourself….yes.

  22. those Eastern Europeans have some car rebuilding skills. I remember in Los Angeles The Armenian guys all rolled around in salvage and rebuilt luxury cars. They had a reputation for trying to pull off this gangster look with cars they had built from the ground up from a junkyard.

  23. Aluminium and steel needed to be bonded .. hence why they use a 'glue' … Arthur even said the roof was aluminium in the video …

  24. All I hear in this video is a person that doesn't have anything else better to do and has to be a biggest hater than I ever seen you should try to find something do whit all ur free time
