Well now im worried because im rebuilding my sr20det and used a new oem nissan thermostat sealed with toyota gasket maker.. hope this doesnt happen to me thats super weird lmao the last video when the water got in the cylinders had me worried
Put a bunk bed for alberto in your garage man
Maybe the cooling system was not properly bled the first time and the pressure test forced the air pockets out.
I've had a issue like this and it was the head catching on the location dowels, and it took 1-2 days for the head to set down. Gave it a few heat cycles and re tensioned the head!!!
2:50 cream oil new in LZ store limited edition cream oil gets your today
It's ok well that's good
Why does the car sound like my uncle's Honda Civic what happened to the tuner sound not hating at but I miss the tuner sound
put the head again and put the copper gasket spary on the block and head not only the head gasket use another headgasket new and the seat of the head to the block or like this in sr20 drive it again before this but do it right after the next event trust
I say scrap the SR and do something different like a K swap or something gnarly like that man. Plus K series are pretty damn reliable just saying…????ðŸ¤â€
is the fc in the drift game forshawdoing of the giveaway car?
Connected a radiator hose to a vacuum hose location!
Oil/coolant line mixed up and corrected after diagnosing.
High pressure oil feed pressurises coolant system.
Coolant fills crankcase along with oil and as the Pistons come down the water (floating on top of oil) has no where to go but past the rings and fills the bores with water. Also explains water in the oil.
This makes sense in my head and seems reasonable lol
your 240sx is sad
Need a new color, Bananas needs ta go!!

headgasket??
Probably, you gasket didn´t really seat but it seated itself from the shaking and stuff…
I love the when you rev it to higher rpm ðŸ˜Â😠sounds so good

Can you make the a little cheaper I mean the shirts cause I want to get your merch and cause I’m Australian it’s I bit to expensive for me I hate it just please please decrease the price
Just putting it out there, but before you did anything, if you suspected a blown head gasket why wouldn't you just do a chemical test on the radiator before attempting any kind of repair? I would probably still do one now to ensure the miracle is really a miracle, and not a severely reduced current problem.
then why would there be water in your oil?
I can't believe Adam left a camera laying on the driveway…
Adam you flooded the engine!!!!!!!
You don't give it a little gas when you first start a freshly build fuel injected engine only a carbureted one, fuel injected you just prime the fuel pump about three times and that's all.
I'm thinking the head gasket wasn't seated well enough and heat cycling it sealed it up.
Sounds amazing
Doesn't make sense because there was visible water draining with your oil. But it works now so fuck it. You were gunna have to pull it anyways. Just have fun until it blows up again.
The time bomb pic was so accurate 😂😂😂
Hey Adam, when you put the new thermostat in, take and drill an 1/8" hole on the inside of the ring that is clamped in housing. this allows water (and air) to flow through it even when not opened. It fixes any issues of air pockets, that once warmed up will never clear themselves and they become high pressure steam pockets. Also the temp sending units will not register if they are in a steam pocket. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me I've been building engines for over 45 years and I have been drill the thermostat since day 1 and have never had issues with steam pockets. The sender MUST be submerged in water to register. Your tune is useless without engine temp being accurate. Also steam pockets are very high pressure and could blow gaskest, or worse if it starts to percolate it will blow the seams out of the radiator. Good luck m8. oh yeah. locate the 1/8" hole to the top. Peace
it would be funnny if one of you realise by accident pouring coolant into the engine after filling it up with ouil. 😀
I mean…pouring water in the oil is one way to fix the overheating problem..I guess
