Yep, #ETCGDadsTruck starts up for the first time in this video. Also, some special guests stop by to witness the momentous occasion. No, they weren’t in town for that specifically, we were doing other stuff that week and they happened to show up just as I was wrapping things up as you’ll see in the video. Here’s a link to what we were doing.

In my eyes Eric it was you who started all these great automotive channels on YouTube. You were the first auto repair channel I ever watched on youtube, it was probably an honor for those guys to be there when you started your engine!
If you’d have had Davin Reckow there you’d have been all set!
GREAT JOB!!! YOU BASICALLY RE ENGINEERED THAT WHOLE TRUCK…A TRUE LABOR OF LOVE!!!
You sir Mr eric are a bad azz… My good man.. Damn it.. Keep up the good work
Danger, Positive cable riding hard on battery tray @ 4:47. Stock battery clamps are a fuse made to burn up should a short occur in the wire going to the starter solenoid. The Clamps melt and fall away. Those after market clamps look cool but don't offer that protection.
Nice job, looks and sounds beautiful! Makes you realize just how much work is involved in a build
Great Video! Really glad you included the whole set up, esp talkin to edelbrock rep, etc.Seems like that kinda thing only happens to shmucks lke me!
I’m officially buying this when they come back in stock!
Gracias Eric y a todos los que hicieron posible este exelente video
Thanks Eric and everyone who made this great video possible
late in the game ,love this upload
Hey Eric, URGENT I'm concerned about muffler position hot gases exit right onto shock absorber, I don't think it is safe as it contains oil also heat cycles will definitely effect life of that shock absorber.
Michael Jackson dancing in the background @0:02
Amazing truck Sr!!.
Fantastic. Great to see my other favourite guys appear in this episode, Charles and Engineering explained, plus the ubiquitous Chris Fix. Really enjoyed watching this and think you made a very nice job of this. Didn't the engine start up beautifully.
Thanks for all the info mann I watch all your videos and careless of what everyone says you one of the realest out here keep it going 💯.
You got that part right hot rods are never done
What line connectors did you use?? What brand?
on the distributor i put the balance at 12 deg. then line up # 1 the best i can and it will be all most perfect i even got it so good one time that it was perfect timing this way on the break in u don't have to mess with timing it every second matters on break in
Strange, I find this more exciting than seeing Netflix Bird Box right now …
46:04 when you see your bank balance after buying car parts
That’s truck is awesome my oldest brother had one kinda like it but his had a lot of fiberglass fenders and what not on it and i think it had the 454 in it but this was back in 1993 or something I do know it would smoke the tires off it
Very cool!
In regards to the distilled water comment… it’s a Chevy… u can piss in it, it’ll work fine. It’s not all sensitive like some other brands… 😂🤷â€Â♂ï¸Â🧨
Thanks for displaying the American flag properly
I have a 1994 k1500â€â€my dad's old truck given to me for graduation years ago. In the middle of restoration at the moment (couldn't bear to part with it). Love these trucks. So easy to work on!
