I have a hard time calling this video a review since it’s mostly a show-&tell video. That said, I have been using the tools more since I got them. As I said in the video, many of these tools are specialty items. Really great to have in certain situations, but not ‘must have’ tools that you’d use everyday. That is, unless you’re working on German and Italian vehicles. Those vehicles use a lot of the fasteners these tools deal with such as the Allan wrenches. Speaking of those, the Allan tools from Beta are probably the best solution to those fasteners I’ve seen to date. I hope to be using them more in the future.
Tool reviews posted every other Wednesday.

Beta e numero 1 il top 100% Made in Italy 🇮🇹
Beta tools require you to push down the tab and slam it in there, thats the reason u couldnt use it
I never recall Eric using these tools in the 4 years since….
Like all unusual tool designs, once you use them the more you can't live without.
I can't find these anywhere even with the links you give
Man,beta is shit comparing the usag tools or heyco tools,i have service for commercial vehicles for 43 years never snapped or broken this tools was used and abused every single day,had beta once and never again poor quality man,as well as crappy snap on you have waranty but when snappy snap they told me your snap on is too old or you didn't buy snap on recently, one more thing if use tools 10 times per 10 years you can buy beta or snap on,if you use every day,buy usag or heyco.
Doesn't beta make motorcycles in Italy too
Honestly why not just use a snap on handle and save the toolbox space
The sliding handle also allows for half turns when the fastener is right up against a wall.
Here is a tip how to make the t handles useful: take/cut the handle off and weld/braze an old socket on the end, now you can use it as a standard extension with any ratchet. works like a charm.
Essas ferramentas são únicas muito boas
Lol, my forearms and hands are build exactly like yours. Must be all those years wrenchin!
Hey Eric, now that you bounce those beta tools for the past 3 years, can you give us a review on how well they've served you so far?
Remember they do do "normal" tools as well. I do want some of these in the sizes i often use though. great quality
They look good!
That is a nice set of special tools and they would be handy for a professional who works on European auto's. As for those working on American, and Japanese auto's there are plenty of special tools already on the market. When in the Air Force we got ours from Snap-On who wanted an arm & leg for them, but the government was paying for them.
I've used BETA for years and they are great, very popular in Italy, used a lot on F1 cars and any high end vehicle in general
These are what I call "fireman tools". They come out for work in specific emergency conditions.
Expensive 400 just for one metric t handle socket set that's like over 1000 dollars worth of tools their
it would be dope to have ball and socket type swivels as oppose to the u joint style.
Beta in Italy is the top of tools… i am a student of mecanix an i use beta!
those nut drivers will be very useful with older honda distributors and starters. anyone whose been there knows
There ratchets and sockets are probably the best I've ever owned. The screw drivers are definitely better then craftsman but I like the blue points better. The mechanics hammer I have had been amazing as well. The slip joint channel locks rusted up fairly quickly.
You won't drop the socket if you have locking extensions.
These beta and Usag tools are the most used in F1 motogp and superbike..
I mean, pretty interesting and cool, id be interested to see how they pan out, but I think traditional handtools are great and maybe we dont need to re-invent the wheel here
They seem like good tools to me.
