420HP SR20DET Vs. Tail of the Dragon

Top mount turbo noises screaming through the trees and echoing off the mountains. Taking a full drift car through a mountain pass should be sketchy, but without touching a single thing on the car we ripped through one of the coolest roads on the east coast with ease. http://LZMFG.com

  1. If you are ever between the Dragon and Chattanooga, definitely roll through the Cherohala Skyway. Such a great road. Both can be done in a day no problem.

  2. should be obvious but if you can SEE the road in front of you who cares if you go over the double yellow. for the blind corners yeah dont do it, but i crossed it all the time whenever i could see far enough ahead to know nobody was coming.

  3. That's crazy it takes cams, e85, and 20 psi to make 450hp on an SR20. A honda k20 makes that on like 12psi pump gas 😂

  4. The random chatter about nuts and bolts falling off made me chuckle. I think that this is almost every 240SX out there.

  5. I was on the dragon Monday and today. My stepdad was with me and he’s an old man so I didn’t get loosey goosey with it, but I had fun.

  6. I took my 05 Legacy GT and had Crotch Rockets pulling over. Got out afterwards and had rubber rolled up around all 4 tires. I'll never forget it. Watch for TN state troopers.

  7. Can't drive it though, too slow around the corners, too quick to change up or down, not impressed, I've been shopping in the wife's diesel 1.6 car faster than that.

  8. Adam: yeah there are more roads out here that are less populated, but those are fast roads. This is a 240sx that can literally break at any givin time.

    Also Adam: 10:17

  9. Whenever you're back here, check out Foothills parkway and Cherohala skyway. Both these roads lead to and away from the Dragon. Not as curvy but still fun and not as trafficked. Some gorgeous views in some spots too.

  10. I just did the tail of the dragon for the first time yesterday. I’ve seen this video maybe 2-5 times since Adam uploaded it. This video doesn’t do it justice! This video also doesn’t do a good job of showing how good of a driver Adam is lol. I’m happy I survived and didn’t end up in a ditch or off a cliff 😂😅

  11. It would be pretty cool if like for 1 week or weekend out of the year they close down the entire road and people can ride up and down without having to worry about opposite traffic and using both lanes. That would be pretty dope. I’d love to see you slide the entire dragon but I don’t think your tires would make it 😂😂😂

  12. I used to take my 240 to blood mountain all the time and the car would never break lose unless I tried to get it too. Stock kA but man that car was a blast in corners!

  13. Went out to Gatlinburg a few weeks ago & visited the dragon because my dads a huge motorcycle guy & I gotta say, you probably had a lot more fun in a drift tuned 240 than we did in our 2018 Dodge Caravan GT rental 😂😂. Great times on that road bro. Keep doing what you’re doing.

  14. It probably takes me less time to drive to the dragon than it does to drive to school. And I went for the first time last friday
