8. Both videos were great. Job went smooth. I had to invent a tool to get the fan off. I wedged part of a fishing spear in it.

16. Thanks Eric, you helped get us through the fix. Couldn't get the big nut off either, ended up taking the pump off with fan attached, clamping pulley into vice and using a long pipe over the wrench to get more leverage, while the other hit it with hammer eventually gave way. Man we were glad to get that thing apart, took hours just to get the nut undone.

18. I have a gmc sierra 1996 5.7, hazards only work when i press the brake but dont flash. Bulbs, relays, fuses and multifunctional switches are all good, circuit board works. Any thing else would work? Thanks

23. The pipe wrench is a WIN!! My dad helped me take out the clutch fan from my 1994 towncar. Jeez that was the Hard part 😂

A couple years ago I replaced the water pump on my 99 Tahoe, now I'm replacing the power steering pump and wanted to get the fan out of the way for easier access, fast forward through the video to the fan removal part and seen you using the pipe wrench , I tried that too, I thought he gets that off I'm going to shit, I didn't have a wrench that big, gonna have to borrow one, and I couldn't remember if it was left or right handed threads, thanks Eric on the right track now. Subbing up 👍

27. Driving down the highway last night, heard a sound and something fell. Pulled over and saw that the fan had fallen off and damaged the radiator. So this video is PERFECT. Subscribed.

30. What happens if you don't put liquid thread on the 4 water pump bolts when installing? Will it leak?

31. And that's why I removed the fan clutch and installed an electric fan.

34. Is the special tool a wrench , rubber (dead blow) mallets are more forgiving .

35. All you had to do was put a wrench in the tensioner tighten the belt and hit the wrench on the fan with the hammer

    Here is a way that works every time

41. Don't remove the belt before you loosen the bolts on the water pump pulley. With the belt on you still have tension and the bolts come off easy.

42. There's a drain plug on the bottom right of the radiator (when viewing from front of car) that lets you drain almost everything. Makes less of a mess than removing the lower radiator hose.

44. you know anything about swapping parts from one motor to the other? if so could you tell me if I can run a 92 pulley system on a 97 vortec chevy both 350s of course.

45. Just bought a 96 box truck with supposedly 50k some miles on it that is leaking like a bum in an alley towards the from from what I can tell. I sure hope is something simple like a water pump. Sure doesn't have the room a truck has to work under the hood, can tell that already.
